We are very happy with this fan. We installed it in a screened in small porch. It looks great and does a great job moving air. I installed a 12” rod instead of the small one it came with so the fan is lower off the ceiling.

Loft ceiling fan
I have a small 3rd story loft built into the attic. The ceiling slants and I needed a small enough fan with a long enough downrod for the blades to clear the slanted ceiling. This fan works great. I did buy the downrod separately, a 24 inch, but it works perfectly.

Great outdoor fan at a great price
The installation was pretty straight forward. My biggest issue was installing a new construction fan box where my original light was under my back porch. After that was installed it was a breeze to finish installation. I would highly recommend for $120 for the fan and fan box, plus it's outdoor rated and is the cheapest I had found online by far.

I wasn't a huge fan when I saw this fan...
I wasn't a huge fan when I saw this fan at the store but it looks so pretty. The painting on the blades is not great, one of them has too much white and an off pattern; it really drive me nuts, you can see it on the picture. It was a little complicated to install, it might probably be better to assemble it completely before hanging it, even while the blades makes it annoying to hang it up. Other than that, it's a nice fan with a good speed. I installed it with a universal remote, very well recommended.

Thank you for your review. The blade in the photo can be replaced by calling Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678). Please let customer service know that the finish does not match the there blades and they will be able to send a replacement.

Nice and versaitile fan
This fan is relatively easy to assemble and install. I did look at the video and follow instructions. The screws are a little difficult to get to when installing but worth the effort. We got two fans installed in my sunroom and the look very nice. And the reversible blades is a great way to change the look.

Well.... this has never happened to me before...
I ordered the fan listed and pictured above. I received the fan shown in the pics.
This is a nice fan, and appears to be new. It was a fairly straight-forward fan installation, and the lights were included. I installed it in one of my offices, and it does the job.

I just installed my Hampton Bay Cedar 44 IN. INDOOR/OUTDOOR ceiling fan. And it was very easy to set up. Its taken me about 1 hr. And let men say it looks nice and works great. I can see it made of good quality parts. So i know it's going to last. On the set up it was the main power wire black ,white ,light blue And green. on the light kit .
There was a plug, male and female. The light bulb has one black and one white it was Very easy to connect. .
