I purchased quite a few of these lights about two years ago and love them. They were all metal with glass. I just purchased a ten pack in June 2026. They were not in the usual box and are full plastic with glass. Did the manufacturer change the material?
Hi Matt - You are correct. The Clermont model is now made with a weatherproof, lightweight, durable plastic. If you are looking for a metal construction solar path light, please consider the Palmdale, Sumner, Savannah, Harper, or Leeds.
Can the lens color be replaced or changed from warm white making it COOL WHITE? if so what bulb would be needed?? Is product made of plastic on description says plastic or does it have any metal??

What is the stake dimension? I am trying to buy replacement stakes as mine snapped. Would like to know what stakes will fit as replacements.
Hi Kaley - The diameter of the stake is 1" but Hampton Bay replacements found at Home Depot come with 7 different heads to ensure compatibility.
