The paint color was very blue not gray, the top...
The paint color was very blue not gray, the top and the bottom of the cabinets even the wall cabinets, were not painted.. and the “wood”construction was particle board which will swell if it gets wet.. sent them back.

We are sorry for the dissatisfaction you had with the finish and construction of your new Hampton Bay cabinets. The bottom and top of them will be unfinished, as you mentioned. There are options to add end panels to them to help create a fully finished surface on all ends. For construction, we use a very durable furniture board behind a solid wood face frame that is certified by the KCMA for quality and strength. While we were not able to be a part of your project, we do hope that you were able to find the best fit for it. I've always liked the corner lazy susans ever since my...
I've always liked the corner lazy susans ever since my dad made them for my mom - over 65 years ago (they still work). The main complaint I have is that even though it is a 33" cabinet, it still takes up 36" of wall. That was not made clear and has caused some problems. It would also be nice to have available thin wood or plastic made to fit the wire shelves.

The measurements given in the description do not indicate how this cabinet fits into kitchen arrangement. I had to return the entire set of cabinets I had purchased because this cabinet sits 3 inches from the wall, not flush, and nowhere is this indicated. Totally misleading product description.

Hi Dan,
The BLS36 requires 36 inches of wall space on each side of the corner walls. The cabinet is required to be pulled three inches out from the wall. This is common among corner base cabinets.
