How do I reconnect a fan arm to the housing. The fan is already installed
The blade holder has two pre-installed blade arm attachment screws on one side. These two screws align underneath the fan motor and are screwed in firmly. This fan is hard wired to a ceiling fan outlet box, it does not use a plug.
Do you need to use the light or can you install without the lighting fixture
This fan can be installed without the light - instructions and hardware for removing the cap from the light kit and using it as a wire cover underneath the motor are included.
can this fan be installed on a sloped ceiling?
Yes, this fan can be installed on ceilings with slopes up to 18 degrees.
Will this fan work with a cathedral ceiling
Depending on the cathedral ceiling's layout, you will likely need a longer universal downrod (non-threaded with a 3/4 inch interior diameter/1 inch exterior diameter) so that the blades have enough clearance from the ceiling. The outlet box will need to be level or on a slope that does not exceed 18 degress, and the box will need to be rated for ceiling fan support.
What is the max light bulb wattage I can put in?
The manufacturer does not recommend exceeding 60 watts per socket.
with two ceiling fans do I need two remotes
The Gazebo III is a pull chain operated ceiling fan and does not include remote functionality. You can purchase and install a universal ceiling fan remote control kit to add remote control functionality. You will need a kit for each fan as the kit includes a receiver module that installs at the fan's wiring to give it the ability to communicate with the remote. Most universal ceiling fan remote control kits give you the option to program a single remote to multiple fans, but you will need to purchase a kit for each fan.
What length of down rod(s) does this fan come with?
This fan includes a single 4.5 inch downrod. It is compatible with longer universal downrods if needed, simply ensure the downrod you purchase is non-threaded and has a 3/4 inch interior diameter (1 inch exterior, but most sellers go by the interior).

For the best cooling effect, please make sure the fan is set to the forward (counter-clockwise) direction and running on the highest speed setting. It also helps to confirm that the blades are installed between 7–9 feet above the ground, as this height is ideal for proper air circulation.
