Marsden 5.5 in. 1-Light Matte Black Transitional Wall Sconce with Clear Glass Shade

This is such a nice wall sconce. The matte black finish is flawless. All the necessary parts for installation are included - even wire nuts. The clear glass shade is just what I was looking for. Normally I have no problem installing electric fixtures, but my sconce is on a stairway wall, and being short, I can't safely reach the electric box. I am going to have to get an electrician to install it. The actual installation, however, is straightforward and easy.

The Marsden 1 Light Brushed Nickel Indoor Wall Sconce is made of steel with a brushed nickel finish and clear glass. It looks great in our staircase with a vintage light. It’s very bright. I installed it facing up but am now curious to see how it would look facing down. Either way it is great looking and adds a bit of elegance to a passageway. It’s a good value for the money. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone.

We really love this light. It arrived well packaged without damage. The metal is a quality gauge thickness along with the glass light fixture. This glass was our deciding favorite yet being a nice gauge of glass and not too big just the right size. It installed easily and the worked without issues. You should be able to enjoy this light for years to come.

This attractive wall sconce light by Hampton Bay is to replace ours that has started to rust. We use it for lighting in our enclosed patio room, and it is intended for interior use. We aren’t sure why it started to rust but it’s an overall nice light so we thought we’d try another. The brushed nickel is a look we tend to gravitate to so we kept with it again. The mounting deck width is 5.5” and the fixture width is 5.6” with a depth of 6.3” and height of 9”. The globe can be installed hanging downward up upward and we prefer downward. It is hardwired with a ground and takes a max 60w bulb and can be dimmable. Doesn’t come with a lightbulb. I think the sconce-shaped fixture is complementary to the brushed nickel and is clear so it gives off a lot of light. We have installed the light where our porch light used to be so the necessary wiring was already in place. The install connection was easy and we enjoy this light. Deserves 5 stars because of its beauty. Three-year limited warranty. Made in China
