This lamp went up super easy. Very good directions. The product feels very sturdy and durable in your hand. The shade has texture to the glass which adds to the vintage feeling we were going through. The light bulb puts off a warm yellow light, however it is not very bright. If you need high white light, this piece may not be for you.

I purchase 3 light fixtures, one unfortunately was missing the part that holds the glass shade. I when back to the store and was given a part out of a previous box. I do love the light fixture. Easy to install and looks great. I love the old Edison light bulb that came with the light fixture but I'm more accustomed to bright light so I replace the light bulb. I Would recommend however, review all parts prior to installing.

Beautifully design but poor glass quality & lack of energy efficiency
The light fixture is beautifully design but the quality of the glass is cheap, easy to break. It would have been nice if the glass was thicker. The bulb is dim and the very yellow unless your going for that look. And 60w is a major lack of energy efficiency. I guess you get what you pay for.

Beautiful and well made, but...
I bought and installed this on my own (I'm a nurse). It was very easy and looks great. The one thing you should be aware of is that although the fixture is rated for 60 watts and it comes with a lovely 60 watt Edison bulb, this bulb produces only 305 lumens. This is only slightly brighter than what a 25 watt incandescent bulb produces. There are LED Edison bulbs available which will provide more light but are of course more expensive. I am keeping the fixture and ordering the brighter more expensive bulbs because I love the look.
