Q:I have had this fan since August 2021 and the higher setting is now working slower than the middle setting. I have cleaned the blades and made sure the motor is still getting 120V. Any known solutions?

    Q:Is there a way to wire the remote to run one fan and light on one switch remote. While the other room has the same fan that on a different remote? Installed two fans in bedrooms separately and they both run on the same remote and messes them up.

    A:  Thank you for your question. Yes, each remote and receiver pair should be set to a unique dip with setting to ensure that each remote only controls the intended fan. Changing the dip switch settings will change the frequency of the remote. The dip switches can be set to any unique combination of up or down as long as the settings in the receiver match the settings in the remote. This is covered in detail in the complete installation video located with the alternate images on the product page online (fast forward to the 4:19 mark).       A:  Thank you for your question. YEs, as long as all of the remotes and receiver are set to the same dip switch settings. You will need to call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) to order an extra remote. This fan will not be compatible with any other remotes.

        Big Fan, Little Light
        Fan and light work as it should. However the LED light is not bright at all. Oh well, looks nice though!

          Great Fan
          Great Fan , blows plenty of air, I have 12 ft ceilings on a 36 inch down rod. Make sure your box is rated to hold a fan if not get the box with with the extensions to grab the trusses in the attic. LED light plugs in and is magnetically held in place really cool. The only CON I see is even though you offer a remote ,you still need to get on a ladder and switch the direction of fan Warm weather/ cold weather. It would be nice if the remote could do that and eliminate a person from having to go up on a ladder. Also color is fantastic , I love the way the blades just snap in. When you buy this it comes with plenty of wire to extend the fan.

                The lamps design is defective
                The look of the fan is great and it was easy to assemble but the pin that is supposed to fasten with the light kit is too long and smacks the light kit once you turn on the fan. This doesn't allow the blades to spin and makes a loud noise. In order for the fan to work we had to add our own spaces to the kit. So heads up.

We are not sure what pin is being referenced because the light is held on by magnets.                   This fan looks very modern and moves air well. It was also easy to install. I chose this fan because it has the option of daylight lighting and I prefer daylight. However, it does not provide enough light. It works more like a spotlight and doesn’t light up my whole bedroom. We previously purchased a Home Decoration brand ceiling fan for the living room that looks similar to this one, and that brand fan is extremely bright. If you have bedside lamps then you’ll probably have enough light with this fan. If you aren’t depending on only using this fan for light or if you have recessed lighting then I would highly recommend this fan since it really does look nice and move air well.

                  Sling Blade
                  5 months after install and normal usage, a blade broke off while the fan was running! Slung the blade across the room, doing damage to the wall. Minimal damage, but still. I am of the opinion that a ceiling fan should NEVER huck blades across the room. The supplier (King of Fans) offered me 1 of 2 new replacement fans. Very similar values. Zero compensation for my time to uninstall/ reinstall and repair the wall. (They would have paid up to $200 if I hired a contractor) LOL
