We are sorry to hear that you had this experience. Please check that the light is set to its brightest setting by pressing and holding the light button on the remote. The light may have been inadvertently dimmed. While pressing the light button, the light should cycle through its brightness settings. Release the button once the light reaches peak brightness. In general, we recommend using a ceiling fan light as a supplemental light source as opposed to the sole source of light in any room. If you feel the light is not functioning properly, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to get more information to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue. They will also be able to send a replacement LED module if needed.
