It would be best to review specifications the manufacturer may have. I live in a very humid area, the fixture is all metal, but I returned it as I needed a larger fixture for the game room. The fixture is very nice looking, each light can be moved to point in different directions.

How do you change the bulb
It's easier and best to use a suction cup. This light fixture came with one. Gently push suction cup into bulb, turn left pull out light bulb. Easy to do.
It is almost impossible to insert the lightbulbs without the wonderful little vacuum device included in the package. With it, it only takes seconds.
