Hello, no you must use at least the 4.5" DR that comes in the fan. If your ceiling is 8' which is the average in a home your fan will be fine on that size DR. THX
Hello, I can’t get my fan to sync with the remote. I can only turn the fan on/off from the Hubspace app. But i can’t control the light or the fan speed
Hello, in the back of the battery compartment there is a little button about at the 1 o'clock position. Turn power off at wall and have batteries inserted in the battery compartment turn the switch to give power to the fan then hold that sync button down and this should sync your fan. THX
Hi I purchased 3 of these ceiling fans and all remotes control all fans at the same time. How do I make each remote unique to each ceiling fan?
Hello, you need to do each fan individually. Turn power off to all three fans at wall. Starting with 1st fan turn power back on at wall then insert the battery and within 60 seconds hold the sync button down and it will learn the frequency of the receiver for that fan. Once that fan is sync then turn power off at wall and repeat process for the other 2 fans. Once done with 2nd fan turn the power off and move to the 3rd fan and repeat the process. Each fan will remember what the remote frequency was set at once power is turned back on. THX
If I use a 24" downrod, will I need additional wiring to extend for that installation?
Hello, yes there is enough wire to be able to use a 4' DR until wire would need to be added for a DR over 4" THX
