Solar 20 Lumens Black Outdoor Integrated LED Clip-On Light with Magnet; Weather/Water/Rust Resistant

I have bought 5 so far and I'm going to get a few more. This little lite does a great job using the magnet or the clip. I suggest to buy a couple first so you can see how well it does. It was a great price too!!

Not as bright as desired....

The light are a great design. They are clipped on our wall mounted outdoor iron trellis. They really light up all the plants. They are receiving direct solar all day. However, they do not stay on very long and if we put the outside light on for a few minutes they go out obviously but they will not come back on after that until the next night. That is strange and not good. Otherwise they serve a great purpose.

These aren't a dusk to dawn light. They need more battery power. Only stays on for 2-3 hours.

I plan to DYI the light a bit (see picture) slide off the clip/magnet from the light body set it aside to not use it. Make a board mount out of plywood, etc., then install a plate the dimensions of the slot on the light body (A). Wala! Will come back and post when get to it and done.

This little light is soooo awesome! I love the versatility to be able to click it on to hang it or use the built in magnet mount. Very bright lights. I know it’s hard to tell how bright it is by the photos but it’s really bright. This is a great light for hanging over my grill or to clip onto the fence for a poorly lit corner of my yard. I will probably get more!

I was interested in using the HAMPTON BAY SOLAR BLACK LED CLIP-ON LIGHT WITH MAGNET because i needed a light I could put above my sink while doing late night dishes and have it recharge in the window during the day. Unfortunately I was limited to what I could use this solar light on. I thought about using it on my banister in the stairwell so I wouldn't have to keep my hallway light on all night but If I forgot to charge in the sun it was useless the following night. But I found its home when i placed it on my security door so I can better see my door locks when I get home late at night before i turn my porch light on. And it worked great for 2 weeks until my neighbors thought it would look better at their house and it disappeared. What I liked ... well on a full charge will last about 7 hours or until it get light enough for the sensors to turn it off and at the first glimpse of dusk the light will turn on. The magnet on the clip is strong enough to hold the light up on most metal objects. The clip is strong enough to hold if you choose to clamp it on a small rod or lip. What can be improved ... because the light it attached on a stationary clip you are greatly limited to how you can mount. An articulating mount would have made mounting this nice little light much more versatile. If you do not click the light firmly to the mount it will most definitely detach and fall. The fact it is simply mounted with a magnetic clip.. it can be easily removed by any passerby-er so leaving it outside on a metal screen or mailbox while Convenient not a very smart Idea. I would recommend if someone is looking for a Small solar light indoors or in the backyard but front door/yard might not be the best option.

The HAMPTON BAY SOLAR BLACK LED CLIP-ON LIGHT WITH MAGNET is just what I was looking for to make our house in a very dark area much safer at night. I know EMS and police have GPS and all, but some areas do not have good coverage. There is nothing like an actual light over some sort of numbers to identify your property. This solar powered light makes it easy to make that happen. No work, no fuss, no muss. There is no assembly required, you just have to pull the paper strip away from the battery connection. Clip it on and you are done. Of course, solar devices have to be charged, it needs a good 6-8 hours of sunlight to charge daily. Some nights it may not work all that well, but as a rule, I think this light will work just fine. It is larger than I had expected, but feels solid and well made. Do keep the paperwork, but you will at some point in the future have to replace the solar battery. I have clipped it to my yard sign.

This Hampton Bay clip on light is so functional and versatile. I wanted additional lighting over my service door without performing all the costly electrical work. This clip on light provides adequate illumination for our needs. The light can be either attached by the clip or magnet. Both work well against a metal building. I could see using this in various areas around the house, very pleased.

HAMPTON BAY SOLAR BLACK LED CLIP-ON LIGHT WITH MAGNET --- This Led light by Hampton Bay is just what I was looking for. I have been in need of a light that would light the numbers on my home and this works perfect. It has a strong magnet that secures it to anything metal and a nice clip to also secure it. The light is plenty bright and the Solar panel does a good job with charging the battery, also if you ever need to change the battery it comes out with 2 screws. The light was illuminated for eight hours, just like it states on the box. I have had good luck with Hampton Bay solar lights. I recommend you give it a try.
