A replacement wired doorbell push button is an easy way to enhance the entry way into your home and welcome your visitors. I have this doorbell. Install was easy with existing wires. Today I tested the doorbell and it broke. The brass looks good with a cheap chunk of plastic.

Simple to install
We replaced our old cheap doorbell that the builders put in. After 2 years the light was burnt out. So we decided to get this brand and it only took 5 mins to install. It looks so much better than our old plastic one.

The doorbell has an attractive look. I had an issue with it falling apart when attaching the wires. I thought i had it snapped back together, but wound up loosing the connection terminals and the wire in the wall. Had to return it and get another one. The neon lights don’t seem to last very long either.

I replaced an old, faded plastic doorbell button that would stick at times with this product. What an improvement! The finish, solid metal plate of a decent weight and color-matched mounting screws are high quality. I also like the lighted button which I didn't have before. This product makes the entry area look much nicer, and you can see the doorbell button at night. It was very easy to install too.

But, it's easy to install. Requires just the simple attachment of the two wires for the doorbell. It is lit for nighttime. It is made of metal and should last for years especially exposed to the elements that can deteriorate those cheap plastic doorbells.
I actually attached mine to a brass switch plate which I drilled and tapped to accommodate the attachment of the bell to this new plate. Took me twenty minutes!

Selected this wired door bell push button to work with our new HAMPTON BAY Wireless or Wired Door Bell in Black Frame with White Insert Model # HB-7623-03. This push button is manufactured with a high quality bronze metal and its depth is smaller than many push buttons making the unit very attractive. The rectangular button is illuminated for easy detection at night. To install the push button you attach the two wires to the two screws on the back of the button then use the provided wood screws to mount the push button near the door. It is very easy. In our situation, however, we had to add a diode across the two screws on the back so that the doorbell would play the full musical recording. Otherwise it would just go ding dong. This was a little more tedious than just screwing on the two wires. It took less than 5 minutes to install (the doorbell and wiring was already in place). We love the eloquent look of this push button. We rate it 5 stars and would recommend it to friends It does enhance our entry way into our home and welcome our visitors.

Hampton Bay Wired Door Bell Push Button in Mediterranean Bronze. This replacement wired doorbell push button was easily installed and enhanced the entry way as you walk to the front door. The style and the bronze color really stand out. This push button works with most 16-Volt hard wired doorbell systems and mounts to the door frame or exterior wall of your home. Since I had just upgraded with the Hampton Bay door bell, this push button completes the set. (A wired doorbell and transformer is required if not already installed.)
