Q:Is it possible to use one wireless button with 2 different Chimes simultaneously? I have one chime already, but would like to add a 2nd chime in a different part of the house to work with the one button outside.

Answer This Question

A:  Yes, for me. I have two Hampton Bay wireless doorbell sets #7731, one upstairs and one down stairs, two doors and I paired them together so both ring no matter which button is pressed.

A:  Hi there, thank you for your inquiry! You will need a chime extender, unfortunately you cannot pair multiple chimes to a single button.

This door bell is really sturdy. I love the battery life. I have had my doorbell for over a year now. One would think that since it's wireless the batteries would run out fast, but they don't.

I needed a new doorbell and button to replace the cheesy "builders Grade" bell and button...Easy to Sync with the new doorbell , this button easily went where the old button was.. just 2 screws and that was it! Although it's all plastic, it still looks much better than the one that it replaced... If I would have designed it, I would have made it with a thin aluminum covering in the antique brass, rather than make it all plastic.. Just a thought. but it works great and I didn't have to fish any wires through the walls, so it's all good

This Hampton Bay wireless doorbell push button was a replacement for an old, discolored, white push button on our garage entrance that didn't always work when pushed. It is made of plastic, but is very attractive and easier to see than the old one. We did pair it with a new Hampton Bay wireless doorbell which we installed just inside our garage entrance door and so far it is working fine. It has a button style battery included and is a surface mount installation with screws or double-sided tape, also included. I am hoping that with the new doorbell closer to the push button it will continue to chime as needed!

My daughter wanted one that 'looked better' than the plain white plastic one and was easier to see on a white trim background. Wireless buttons are generally not illuminated to conserve battery power. Looks good with the brass address plate and brick / stone work and provides contrast to the white door surround. Designed for a vertical mounting orientation and includes the coin cell battery. Steps: Test the remote button, (remember pull out the plastic battery insulator first) in the desired location to verify reception/range. You will need to find the 'learn' button on the chime or need to use the chime's software to 'learn it' before testing it. Install the button. In wood, use the included screws. In masonry, aim for mortar joints and plastic anchors. Also includes double stick tape to mount if needed.

Got it in pair - Door Bell & Door Bell Push Button from Hampton Bay. Great products! First, combination of products works perfect. Took 5 min to unpack and do pairing (straightforward). Second, quality is good but not perfect. Plastic parts behind Wired Door Bell in Dark Oak Wood (HB-7625-03) looks a little bit sloppy (IMHO). I used 2 C-type batteries for now, but will look into transformer in the future. Wireless Door Bell Push Button in Antique Brass (HB-7710-03) is good, but made of plastic (can be good for years though, but in my case it will be exposed to sun a lot and previous door bell button turned white to yellow in 2 years (different producer though)). Finally, I think this is fair investment: price/quality matched well. Easy to install, use, and move if necessary. Go for it with confidence. Happy DIYing!

This is a Hampton Bay Wired/Wireless Doorbell Pushbutton. It is very good looking. It looks like it is made of metal but it is plastic. It is a companion to the Hampton Bay Wired/Wireless Doorbell Base. The technology of this product is amazing. The setup is very easy. Basically there is a button on the pushbutton unit and a button on the base unit. You push one and then the other and your done. You can choose between many song fragments or a traditional "ding-dong" sound. We're very happy with this set. The hardest part is attaching the pushbutton to the outside of the house although that is really not hard. Attaching to siding is just a matter of screwing the base in with two screws. As you can see in the pics, I had to use a hammer drill, a masonry bit, and anchors to attach it to our bricks.

I recently replaced our white push-button for our doorbell with a Hampton Bay Wireless Push Button in antique brass (we do have a Hampton Bay wireless doorbell system). The Hampton Bay push-button is compatible with any Hampton Bay or Heath Zenith Wireless Door Bell or Alert. To change the push-button doorbell literally took no more than 5 minutes. You simply synchronize the doorbell with the chime by holding down the sync button on the chime for a few seconds and its done. The push-button comes with a battery already installed, installation instructions and all necessary installation hardware. This was purely a cosmetic change just to add a little different look to our entry. It was inexpensive, very easy and works very well.

I got this doorbell button for a wireless Notifi Alert Doorbell by Heath-Zenith. The instructions are written to align with Hampton Bay doorbells, but I read that the button also works with the doorbell I had. The button needs to be synched to the chime unit. It works a pretty good distance from the chime unit and even through multiple walls. The button comes with a sticker backing and screws. It uses a button battery. Once the backing is mounted, I can imagine it will be a little difficult to get the screw driver in to release the plastic latch and remove the button from the backing. The button looks nice even though it's all plastic.
