Good material but not solid birch. I found the edges were a bit rough but with a little sanding it smoothed out some. Other than that, it has a pretty smooth surface, which, makes for easy painting and staining. Great for home decorations. If you seal the birch circle with polyurethane it might be good for door hangers. Overall, a decent product and I'd recommend it for crafters.

I am using this 18 inch disc to make a clock. The birch wood is pretty and smooth (making it easy to paint). The thin material and it’s perfect circle shape make it a good fit for making a clock. It is also light weight. I still have a little work to do on my clock, but overall I really like this birch circle for this type of project. I give it a thumbs up!

The manufacturer states that these 1/4 inch thick and 18 inch diameter birchwood platters can be used to make your own clockfaces. They could also work for larger art projects, especially appropriate for all of the holidays. Since many of us have been stuck in our homes, this sounds like a great choice. We are using ours as an additional platter for our dining room center plant displays and for providing a place for wine glasses.

This Demensions 1/4” by 18” round Birch circle is such a great piece of wood for crafting, with both sides well sanded and smooth feel will be safe for grandson to play with without fear of getting splinter or breaking very easily, and is ready out of box or store to prime and paint. My wife is making a baseball clock for our grandson son, this 1/4” 18” round birch plywood is great for this project. Comes from the factory in a perfect circle, they machine cut so you get a exact circle. At a 1/4” thick it’s very sturdy, and birch is one of 3 hard woods used for and construction and craft making, will handle just about any harsh treatment from a 4 year old.
I definitely would recommend this Demensions 1/4 thick 18” round circle Birch plywood to anyone especially crafters, you will get a high quality piece of wood to work with.

Worked out well! I wish they were a little cheaper. Somewhere around $8 would be better. You would still maximize profits. compared to plywood cost. I bought a sheet of plywood for $37 and will cut 8 of them out compared to $18 for 1. I get it though, it’s a convenience thing. Similar to the precut 2x4 sheets. You’re paying for convenience. The precuts are the same price as a sheet of plywood.. it’s important for me to spot these things.
