Excellent and less expensive alternative to plywood. It is great for work bench tops, cabinetry simply because the surface is a lot finer, the material is more dense making precision cuts easier to maintain. No good around water so I treat my work with any kind of oil so that water is always repelled.

I added this thin MDF on top of the wire shelving to reinforce the canned good shelves in our pantry. The material is uniform, flat, square, and nice looking. The size was perfect for transporting home in my car. Recommended.

I had a plumbing leak in the garage where the flexible pipe comes out of the main. To get to it the plumber ripped up the drywall bad. After, he said he wouldn't put the drywall back in case anything else broke later. So I got this wood. It worked well to cover up the area in a way to get back and also look streamlined. I also wanted it to go lower than the drywall to the floor so it needed to be a little flexible. It worked great.
