These are plugs - roughly 2-inch squares, basically to patch a few bare spots in the lawn. If you want 200 sq ft of sod, I suggest you avoid plugs.
I always order around May or June.
Each plug is approximately 3" square. You plant each plug in holes 12" apart, and they should fill in the spaces between the plugs. They will also continue spreading, so they can fill in more or less than 64 sq ft, depending on conditions in your yard and whether growing conditions are optimal. They are healthy, well-rooted plugs. Mine did great until it got really hot and then crabgrass started growing and taking over. Crabgrass is incredibly invasive. I plan to put down crabgrass preventer in the fall and hope that the St Augustine that is still there will spread more next year. The two 18 packs that you get are approximately 3-4 square feet of grass, if you planted each plug close together, without space between them.
No. St Augustine is a hot, humid climate and sandy soil type of grass. It doesn’t even do well in N GA
Early in the morning! Remember to Water daily for the first week... Any month from April to August.., 244 Jake
The amount of square feet coverage that the plugs provide depends on how close you plant the plugs
Do you have a Home Depot, within driving distance? If You, if yes you can buy them. 244 Jake
No, This is grass for hot, sunny climates with sandy soil. I’d google for the best type of grass for your zip code,
