Is this item also sold with a left side gas connection option ?

AnswerYou can flip the gas connection to the left side, if needed. I had to do that: you will need an adjustable wrench and a Phillips screwdriver.
My gas connector is on the left side. Can I use this set?

AnswerYes, the directions tell you how to change from the right side to the left side. Simply remove the gas line from the burner, remove the screw that clamps the burner in place, then remove the small plate located on the left side of the tray. Remove the burner placing the exit connection through the hole in the left side, re-attach the gas line to the connection with pipe dope, reattach the clamp to the pan with the screw and nut and place the small metal plate you removed from the left side on the right side and your are done. You now have gas inlet on the left side, like mine is! JDW

Ignore the couple negative reviews. If installed correctly works and looks great. Would highly recommended for those with a gas option. I’m also not a big fan of the stock photo that is on the website...if the logs are arranged right it looks much better.

We are definitely enjoying this product since I got it installed. Installation was a little challenging, because the directions were feeble and the logs were not numbered as they were supposed to be. The product information did not indicate whether there would be a flexible gas hose included, so I had purchased one separately. The kit did come with the flexible gas hose. It would be helpful if the product description included what is in the Box.

Love the look of the logs and it works great. It fills the fireplace well. The instructions were well written and easy to follow. We did need a plumber to help with the connection so the gas fitting were done correctly.

We wanted to be able to use the fireplace without a mess. We don’t use our fireplace often so getting wood and cleaning the fireplace is a small ordeal. This kit has good heat output and lights with ease. One question I’ve seen asked many times for these kits is: “is it left side gas capable?” It 100% is and can be done with ease. Check every fitting.
