Can this be used under a covered patio with a 10 foot ceiling.
Dear Robert, the most important is to use this Chimenea outdoors. If the patio has roof, we would suggest you to cover the chimney with its Cap (included) to direct heat from sides instead of from the top.
Does the smoke come out all sides or does it rise out the top
Dear Judy, this chimenea is with 360 window, it produces less smoke when heating. If you happen to experience smoke during igniting the fire, you may remove the cap at the top to help direct the smoke out of the top. Hope my explaination helps.
