I am wanting to store grill supplies (no food) in an outdoor area (covered) such as utensils, plates, cups, etc. I know that the tote is not waterproof, but would it be weather resistant enough for this, and suitable for this use.

Does the cover add height to the measurements described?
The lid is included in the height description, however the HI-RISE lid in general adds about 1.5inches of extra room compared to an average flat lid. Thanks!

Are the dimensions with or without the lid. I don't need a lid, but I would like the height to be about 8" without the lid.
