A:  Dear Valued HomeDepot Customer, We have reached out to the manufacturer and their reply is, Mix 2 2 parts Henry 547 to 1 part of Henry 546

      by|Feb 16, 2021

A:  It should read "Mix 2-1/2 parts Henry 547 to 1 part of Henry 546". I believe by "parts" it goes by volume in measuring cups. If you have 2-1/2 cups of powder you would put 1 cup of additive. If you have 5 cups of powder you would put 2 cups of additive. Since 1 cup = 1/4 quart you could get 4 cups out of 1 quart. Remember to use a dry measuring cup for the powder. I also recommend pouring the powder through a sieve/sifter of sorts to make sure there are no lumps prior to mixing w/ the additive.

Worked exactly as advertised, it made the Henry 547 more resilient and stronger. It dries faster as well. Make sure you mix it exactly as advertised, and only make enough to spread around within like 5-10 mins (max). Once it hardens, it’s hard for good. Great stuff.

I like that it makes the bonding stronger (in certain cases where that is preferred), and that it increases its flexibility and strength, so that its not just brittle to break.
