Installs easily. Plastic sheet underlayment specified by manufacturer for all applications is unusual. 3/8" required gap at walls is relatively large, and shoe molding was narrow (1/2") to cover this gap. Any movement may reveal a gap. Better installation would be to remove and replace base board and shoe molding. Product had higher than normal variation in color, as always, I randomized pieces to even out variation, but the darker panels really stand out. See attached picture.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! We have an area of less than 200 square feet of space, and we have had so many problems with the quality of the materials, especially due to poor packaging. We originally purchased 7 boxes of flooring, and 4 complete boxes of them were damaged to where they were unusable. At that point, we debated on returning all of it, and getting a more durable product. Foolishly, we decided to keep trying and ordered 8 more boxes, thinking that would be enough extra to get enough to finish the job. 3 of them were completely unusable, with a few boards in the other boxes that were as well. Our project is about 70% finished, and we are now waiting for 6 more boxes... hoping they will have enough usable boards to get this done. It has taken 3 weeks so far, waiting for all of the shipments, letting the materials acclimate, and scheduling the installers. Even though the cork is a cool material, it was certainly not worth the hassle this experience has been, and we are do not think it will last more than a few years. Seriously, save yourself the trouble and get something else. I wish we had.

The flooring is great. We have been looking for a certain kind for a few months. Found a sample in our garage. We called Home Depot to see if they still carried it. They checked & we were lucky, they still did. The product is wonderful. We couldn't be happier. It is holding up very well

We just installed the macadamia plank cork flooring into a yoga/ballet room in our house. The color contrast with the cedar tongue and groove walls/ceiling are very compatible and pleasing to the eye. We like that cork is resistant to rot and has antimicrobial properties, while also having very low slippage for holding yoga poses. The floor has an attractive appearance and our daughters have already been practicing ballet with huge smiles! The tight seams are visible, which is a bit annoying, but I am hoping over time these will fade. Some of the pieces came with rough edges, that was a bit troublesome, but I saved those for end pieces. So far, overall, we are very pleased with the new aesthetics!

The finish on these cork planks is so thin and delicate that even the slightest scratch or scrape mars the surface leaving the light underlay exposed. The description of the product says that no additional sealing is required. It probably isn't needed if you're happy with ugly gouges all over the floor. We will be replacing numerous panels and then applying a polyurethane sealant. The floor didn't even last a week. We are very unhappy with this product and are surprised that Home Depot would carry a product of such low quality.

I fell in love with cork flooring when I stayed at a B&B in Oregon, so when I saw a pallet of it at Home Depot I knew I had to get it for my office. It was easy to install once we learned each piece needed an extra tap to seed in. It looks great and is so much quieter than the laminate I have in other areas of the house.

First a caveat....I say I would not recommend this product but this applies to any and all areas where the overall climate is dry like any of the desert west/southwest or mountain states, and Home Depot should not sell and promote this product as applicable in those areas!! The flooring is generally moderately easy to install, but the cardboard core is a bit weak and since it is this core that provides the 'click-clack' locking feature it is a bit less than strong. This may also have impacted our random gaping as the feature is not strong enough to offset random humidity-related shrinkage. DO NOT INSTALL IN LOW (<35% Rh) HUMIDITY AREAS WITHOUT INSIDE HUMIDITY CONTROL (Heritage Mills Will Not Stand Behind The Product In Those Conditions): We installed over 900 sqft of this flooring in a climate controlled carriage house in late 2016 and within 3 months we had over 10 panels exhibiting end gaping randomly throughout the installation (see images) with gaps over 1/8". These were so disappointing that we went through a Heritage Mill warranty claim with Home Depot in June 2017. Certified flooring inspector examined the floor, noting the very low moisture in both the room (we live in the front range of Colorado where humidity levels are commonly below 30%) and then indicated that the gaps were "installation related" and not a manufacturing (ie warranty) issue. The problem with that is that: 1) only 10+ panels demonstrate the gaping, the other 80% of the flooring is perfect (again check images). 2) None of the panels with gaps were installed differently from those showing no gaps Consequently, the only reason some shrunk relative to others was that they underwent a different manufacturing process. It cannot be any other issue and so our claim should not have been rejected. The inspection report indicated that the room had humidity values below 30% and claims that Heritage Mill installation instructions say the room relative humidity MUST be maintained between 35% and 65%. The problem with that: 1) The installation instructions on the back of the box indicate humidity under "Preventive Care" not under installation, and they only indicate "ideal and healthy room conditions are 35-65% R.H. at 20 degree C (68 degree F)". No where do they tell the consumer that the board panels will randomly shrink at humidity levels below 35%!!! 2) Both A/C and forced air heating tend to reduce indoor relative humidity, so if the ambient environmental (front range Colorado) humidity is low, conditioning the indoor with climate control will only make it worse. BOTTOM LINE: Heritage Mill rejected our warranty claim saying our house is too dry, even though 80% of the floor is fine and the 20% that are gaping are doing it randomly throughout the floor (clearly a warranty manufacturing issue). So if you plan to install this bamboo flooring you better have indoor humidity control, or do not live in any of the desert west/southwest. To be honest, Home Depot should not sell this Heritage Mill Cork DIY flooring in these low humidity areas.

Color was way off on the order and had to return. This was not a not a minor lot variation. Was trying to match an existing installation of the same product. Tried to contact manufacturer to see if color formulation was changed but got no response. Home Depot professional in flooring was totally useless. See photo for color variation. Plank on the right was from previous installation and is a close match to the stock photo. The plank on the left is what was delivered (and it was labeled as Burnished Straw, so not a case of wrong product being sent).

Used this for an upstairs bonus room. Perfect! Very quiet and looks like our wood plank flooring downstairs. Great choice that helped create a warm and inviting room. Installed quickly and easily.
