How much assembly is required?
The Kirkland Headboard has two caps to be removed and two extension legs to attach to raise the headboard.
Does this frame work with an adjustable bed?
The Kirkland Headboard can be used with an adjustable frame. You will need to purchase adaptor plates from the manufacturer of your adjustable frame.
Is 78 inches the width apart that the two legs of this headboard are? I ask because the frame of my standard sized king bedframe has legs 73 inches apart so I cant figure out how this would be attached to the frame if they are 5 inches further apart.
Our Headboards accommodate industry standard bolt-on frames. If you purchased your frame from another manufacturer you may need to purchase adaptor plates or modi-plates to attach to our headboard. The Kirkland headboard measures at 78" wide and when sold with frame, our frame is 76.25" wide.
