Q:In previous years I had these Home Accent Lights and thought I was purchasing the same thing this year. Previously you plugged into 120v and a converter brought the voltage down to 28 or 30 volts. This string stays at 120 volts which isn't safe.

Inconsistent colors
Bought 4 sets of these, identical packaging, model numbers, and serial numbers. One set was a very nice warm white, the other 3 were noticeably cool white. No where close to the same color.
Disappointing because these are a great set of lights, very bright and obviously well made but the quality control on the color means you just have to hope you get warm white.

Save your money
These light come in 2 separate strands instead of one whole strand, you’ll be lucky to get a season outta them before they quit working. On average 30 on the strand go out in a row and good luck fixing them. For the price and “LED” these lights are flea market quality at best

These Lights Are NOT Warm as Advertised
I really should've read the reviews before buying these. These are not warm (2700-3000K) by any stretch of the imagination. These are more like 4500K - a neutral, almost pure white. Be advised before you buy these. Image included is these lights to the left, an old pair of incandescent to the right. I'm fine with the lights. They work fine - just wish they weren't falsely marketed to me as "warm."

We have while lights strung around the top of our backyard fence to give it more ambience when we are entertaining. I needed to replace a set that was damaged by one of our dogs. I was happy with how bright these lights are. Installation was easy as they uncoil off of the spool they come with. There are actually two strings in this which have their own plugs. Since they live outside, I installed the covers over the plugs to protect them as much as I can from the weather. So far, these lights have worked well.
