Wow! For a 28" class, 600 CFM insert range hood for $177, you just can't beat the price per perf...
Wow! For a 28" class, 600 CFM insert range hood for $177, you just can't beat the price per performance value of this item! The two LED are very bright. The first time my wife turned it on she exclaimed, "Wow!" This was her primary concern. Of course mine was CFM. On it's lowest setting the fan doesn't move much air, but it is ultra quiet--totally whisper quiet. On it's 600 CFM setting it is of course is medium-loud, but magazines put on the exhaust side as test material, went blowing across the floor! Nice sturdy buttons that audibly click in and click out. The inlet grills act as grease catching trays by having an according style "no openings showing" dual pane configuration where the bottom opening goes straight up to a closed top, but the closed bottom portions have top openings directly above them. They come out easy with a pull to 90-degrees latch. Nice bright and shiny brushed stainless steel on its borders, around its LED lights, and the buttons themselves. A bunch of panhead wood screws to install the hood into your wood, then two inset, stainless steel machine screws to screw in the visible surfaces panel to the hood. H70-27 Model: Openings/spaces needed to install this insert hood = 26.5" W x 10.75" D x 14.4" H. Just an unbelievable value at $177!

awesome range hood
My husband found it easy to install and we love this and built into a newly made cabinet . (Cabinet is 15 inches deep and we put trim inside to fit . It is much quieter than my previous stove fan (it was in the microwave). Lights look nice . I am so happy with my new kitchen

Gave this vent 3 stars due to the poor installation...
Gave this vent 3 stars due to the poor installation instructions and the LED lights are on the very cool side and there's no way of changing the color to more of a warm white so does not match the rest of the lights in our kitchen. The vent has 3 settings. The level 1 barely works but the level 3 does work well. Overall fits under our built in vent hood and does the job but isn't pretty.

This was a replacement for a 160 CFM fan that came with the house. This 600 CFM has made all the difference in our house. The fan is a little loud at max speed, but it is worth it. Food smells disappear in minutes. It looks awesome in our kitchen and the lighting is bright. Great value for the price.

you get what you pay for..
its a cheap stainless steel. im replacing one from 15 yrs ago.that was stronger and alot more money. the first 2 settings are useless. you have to use the highest fan setting for it to make a difference. the lights are purplish dull. we have to replace them. i'd recommend paying a little more for a better one.
