Q:Are you able to put 3 of the Aberdeen single, 22 inch, hall trees together next to each other to make one 66 inch hall tree or would that look awkward? The larger Aberdeen is only about 48 inches and that one is too narrow. I like the style a lot.

Holes in wrong spots make assembly impossible
Got as far as the bottom seating section completed and started on the top. The part with the coat hooks is two panels that fit together down the middle using cam bolts and locks. However, the holes on one of the boards were drilled too far out, so the bolt can't reach the lock (see pic), and I can't complete assembly.
Idk what to do at this point other than contact HD and ask them to order another one on their dime so I can scavenge the new boards.

I spent days researching hall trees and this was the tallest one I could find and it has legs too. It is a beautiful addition in our hallway and has everything we're looking for with cubbies, seat cushion, drawers and hooks. Woukd highly recommend.

This hall tree is beautiful and fits nicely in my hallway. The color is polar white so it’s a cream color not actually white as it looks in some of the pictures. More of a natural or beige tone to it. It can be painted and if you plan to do that paint prior to putting together. It’s comes in two large boxes and lots of parts. I had a handyman put it together for me and it took him about 35 mins. The item is very study and I’m not using any back hooks to keep it from tilting over. A definite buy especially if you get it on sale as I did around $400 verse paying $600.

Looks good in our hallway
For being an 'assembly required' piece of furniture, I believe the price should be lower. It took me about 3+ hours by myself to assemble. The wood was not real, durable wood - instead it used a lot of composite that sometimes cracks or bulges when tightened too much. The seam in the back two panels was disappointing. The drawers do not slide easily when opened and closed but maybe with time they will get better. Overall, I really like the look of the Aberdeen Double Hall Tree and it will serve its purpose in my home, but I don't think it's value is over $600. Next time I will spend that on a piece of furniture that is already assembled with better construction.

Stylish & Sturdy!
Wow! The finished product looks fantastic and is everything I was hoping and expecting it to be. Two boxes were delivered to the house. One box had some small damage on the outside but it did not affect the materials inside. And the parts are packaged with lots of Styrofoam so it was good to remove the parts and have something to lay them on since we assembled this in the garage. You do need a big space to get spread out and make sure all of the pieces were included in the packaging (which they were) and check each piece for damage (there wasn't any). My husband and I assembled this together, so you do need at least 2 people. It took us just under 4 hours from the time we opened the box to the time I dusted it off when it was inside. He is not a handyman by any means but I have to say I was definitely impressed since the instructions were pretty easy to read, but you need the pictures to help you figure out what you are doing. Also, I was building a house and measured the area during construction. I did not have base boards up when I measured and did not even think to take that into account when measuring the space. Once we have it fully assembled and brought it in the house, we didn't think it would fit, but it did, just barely but it's in. I love the soft color and the silver hardware for the handles and hooks are modern and stylish. The drawers are a decent size also for storage. It's pretty sturdy and heavy. I actually want to buy another smaller one to put by the front door now.

All assembly required
Recently purchased. We do not like that assembly was not easy, plan on 2 people for assembly. A couple of the steps required lifting and moving pieces that were not firmly attached. When attaching the front cross braces to the partitions it is important to pre fit; they have to go a certain way to work correctly and this is not marked or in the instruction book. This piece comes in 3 sections, base, back is two pieces weakly attached, and top; stacked together and attacked using cam lock bolts and wood dowels to connect. The hanging hooks only have 1 screw holding them on so I am not sure how much weight they will hold. We like how the hall tree looks in the entry way however, some parts are not as sturdy as I had hoped it would be for the money paid for this piece.Â

Excellent product but not quite perfect
The packing of the two boxes was amazing, styrofoam up the wazoo. The paint finish was very good, the wood was pristine. However, during assembly, one of the cams bulged out of the wood (only like 1x8 inch...but it affects the appearance). Second, the right main back panel is 1/16 inches shorter than the left back panel. This results in a small crack of space running the entire right/upper side of the hall tree. I'm hoping to color match some caulk, but it does chafe a bit to drop $500 on a product that looks poor when you are finished :(

Material and color quality was nice and sturdy. However, after assembling the hall tree, we found that the drawers rails were not measured out right and the spacing of the holes were off by an inch. Put together the drawers only find out that the rails were unevenly pre-installed. We assembled the hall tree without the drawers (couldn't use them).
