Albright 36 in. W Bath Vanity Cabinet Only in Winter Gray

Bought two vanities for my daughters bathroom. The local Home Depot carried this item in stock so I could see exactly what it looked like and made sure that the pieces picked up did not have any blemishes before installation. They seemed sturdy. Wished the drawers they were soft close but they were not, other products in this collection are.... .

The biggest problem is the crooked drawer assembly and the glide mechanism of the drawers. The top drawer seems to be installed higher on one side then the other. This in turn causes the drawer to sit crooked and actually forced the ball bearing mechanism out of the guide. It arrived this way. We then ordered a second vanity hoping for a better assembly the second time. The only difference was that the top drawer tilted down on the left side rather than the right the second time. Further, the assembly was so bad that the bottom drawer could't close this time because the top drawer in the way prevented closure. It bangs into the top drawer every time you try to close it. When you manually position the drawers so they can close, the drawers do will not close all the way or sit flush in the cabinet. They hang open about 1/2 to 3/4 inch at rest. I wish it had good hardware and quality build because the style and color are exactly what I'm looking for and I love that there is a matching linen cabinet. Maybe I could hire a real carpenter to reassemble it straight with quality hardware. This is a great looking piece. The color is very nice. However when it arrives, it is made of thin plywood with thin plastic-like veneer. It should not be marketed as a high end piece in the Home Designer Collection. What a bummer!

I love how unique this vanity is. I was looking for something rustic and this was the perfect solution. However, I'm not overly impressed with the quality. We ordered the vanity and it came in badly damaged. I can say that Home Depot customer service was excellent. They shipped it back to the warehouse and sent us a new one at a discount. I'm still not blown away by the quality, but you get what you pay for.

Looked for a vanity that would look good with our wood grain tile, winter grey was exactly what we wanted. Great vanity for the price, drawers and hardware are quality. Can't wait to see it with the granite top!

I was actually looking for something to put in my guest bath. I got this but it was too large for that room. Instead of not using it, I decided it would be perfect for my heat press. I would have drawers to keep my supplies and the depth was perfect. The drawers slide in and out so easy. My husband and I made a top from plywood and then put large tiles on that. It is the perfect solution to put the heavy press 0n and have a surface that you can put really hot items on to cool after they come out of the press.

This is a beautiful addition to the bathroom. The color of the solid wood cabinet is a brown-grey. It is like a beach house look. The bottom has that new furniture leg look. The bottom drawer is very deep and will hold alot. The top drawer is a split design to fit around the plumbing.The drawers are full extension. The knobs are rectangle shape in a brushed finish and go great with the rectangle shape of the drawers.

I love pretty much everything about this vanity. The finish is great, the materials are top notch, and the design is excellent. I'm blown away by the quality of materials and workmanship used in this vanity. The cabinet face frames, drawers, and drawer fronts are all made of solid wood. The drawer bodies are assembled with dovetail joints, and the drawer fronts feature very tight mitered bridle joints. The carcass is constructed of high quality 7-layer 1/2" plywood. The finish is a beautiful smooth gray/brown color that will be complimented nicely by either a dark gray/black or light colored granite. I'm actually planning on using it as a guest bedroom dresser, with a wood 6/4 thick top finished in a contrasting ebony stain. (I'll have to add a plywood panel across the back too, since it's mostly open.) The design is well thought out too. Instead of the standard under sink cabinets, the drawers offer much more usable space. The center cutout/divider for the sink plumbing in the top drawer is pure genius. In case you wanted to install a tip-out drawer for additional storage, the manufacturer left the top false drawer front secured by six wood screws without using any adhesive. It comes right off after you've removed the screws, and can easily be reattached with tip-out hinges. Or in my case, I'm planning on building a third shallow drawer that will best utilize the space for a dresser. The one issue I discovered (as did at least one other reviewer) was that the top drawer front sits at a canted angle in relation to the face frame (see picture). It's not very noticeable though unless you're looking at it straight on from the side. This can be fixed fairly easily by unscrewing the drawer slides and remounting them at the correct angle though. As far as I can tell, any cosmetic evidence of the fix will be nonexistent, since at most I'll have to unscrew the drawer slides from the back and/or the sides of the drawer body. Overall, this vanity is an excellent option. Just keep in mind that you or your installer may have to readjust the top drawer. If you've got the skills to install it yourself, you should be able to accomplish this fairly easily. Either that our your installer should be able to do so. (If they can't, you may want to look at getting a new installer!)

I was looking for a cabinet to put my tools in for the garage. I was going to put it under the work bench, but I mis-measured and it was 2 inches to wide. So I put it on top of the bench that holds the vice. It will hold my drill, sander, router, and my clamps. I will put a plywood top on it later to store things on. For those who are using it as a bath cabinet, the top drawer is split so that the trap will fit in-between the sections of the top drawer. The drawers are smooth to open. Just make sure that the cabinet is level or the drawers will open by themselves. I live out in the boonies, so it took them a while to deliver - freight.

Just out of the box this product looks impressive. I think it is better then the pictures I saw. The color is outstanding. The craftsmanship of this vanity is of top quality. It is all wood construction, no particle board. Very high end look. Solid wood drawers with full extension ball bearing drawer guides. Comes fully assembled, just put on the two knobs that are included. The knobs are very stylish and finish the look. The Vanity has many options and could be used in a number of rooms in your home, not just the bathroom. I am getting a solid counter top for mine and using it in my front door entry hall. You will not be disappointed with this product and I recommend one for any use you have.
