Ashburn 48 in. W Bath Vanity Cabinet Only in Mahogany

I love this vanity. I think it looks great and I would give it 5 stars except for a few problems...mostly ones to be addressed to the manufacturer. Good things first: the price was quite reasonable, it looks quality and it a definite improvement,the finish is great on the cabinet and the vanity top is attractive ; the square sink is interesting and works well with rectangular mirror, etc. I was a little concerned that with the sink centered in the cabinet and the cabinet front not having a center that it might look odd, but no problem, looks good. The back area is open making it easily accessible for plumbing and not having a central bar between cabinet doors gave lots of room in the cabinets. The size worked great in my space. Problems: the wood used for the drawers is very soft, the screws holding the track of the center drawer had fallen out and we needed to get new ones to make the drawer operative, also I am somewhat concerned with the strength over the years, the drawers are sorta small and definitely should not hold heavy items. The cabinet back needs to be against the wall so the baseboard was removed but even with that the top of the counter only overlaps the front edge by 1/8" (but it doesn't show since there is so much contrast between the cabinet and the counter). The distance from the opening in the counter top for the faucet and the sink opening is so large that we had to look several times to find a faucet that would reach (not a standard distance). With all these problems, I am still very pleased with the results and would purchase another one if needed.

This is a very nice looking vanity! Rich deep color. Quite pretty installed stand alone with marble top added. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that you can see through the crack in the cabinet doors. Otherwise, it's perfect!

I never write reviews! Come to think of it, this may be my first ever, but that's how pleased I am with this vanity. We waited about 6-8wks for it to arrive (we live in HI) and it was completely worth the wait. We were tempted to buy something in stock and I'm so glad we didn't let instant gratification tempt us. This vanity is of far better quality than anything they have in stock. We love everything about it! The entire vanity is REAL wood, not pressboard. It's sturdy, attractive, modern and timeless all in one. Highly recommend the matching pieces, too. We bought the mirror and wall cabinet and they are of the same great quality. If you're on the fence, don't be. You won't regret ordering this set.

I almost cancelled this purchase. Customer Service told me it was already shipped (on a Sunday?). However, they told me I could refuse shipment or return to the store without penalty, so that wasn't too bad. It also arrived a day late. I decided to keep it, however, as I very much wanted an offset sink, centered over the two doors. Prior to ordering, I could not get the manufacturer or Home Depot to tell me how many inches from the edge was the center of the 2 doors, which delayed the order for the custom top. I'm surprised that it was not in the specs, since the design seems to call for an offset sink. Answer is 29" from the left edge (my doors are on the right) or 30" from the top edge. I also noticed daylight peaking between some of the drawerse & doors in the web display photo, and sure enough, some of our drawers are crooked, with larger gaps than should be permitted if one were a careful carpenter. One drawer opens with difficulty since it is too close on one side & has a larger gap on the other. However, as drawers are attached with screws, I think we take them out, fill the screw holes & reinstall them properly.

My handyman didn't have any trouble getting this out of the box and into our bathroom. It looks great, and solid, beautiful wood, and everything works well. It adds a lot of beauty to our bathroom.

The first thing I noticed about this vanity was it looks like a piece of furniture, and not a standard "vanity." I love that! I found it cheaper to buy this vanity and a countertop separately (by $150 !), so that was a big bonus. I can't comment on people stating that the countertops don't fit it, as our 49" fit perfectly on it! Contractor stated it was an extremely easy install, as well as the top. I just knew when I saw this vanity online that it was "the one," and I was right!! Couldn't be happier!!

I rated this as excellent, because I honestly couldn't find anything wrong with it. I love the fact that I didn't have to put it together. The doors have a soft-close stopper. It's a solid piece, I love the style, hardware and look in my bathroom. The only thing that it should have came with are "L" brackets to fasten it to the countertop if needed. It may not be solid wood, but it's very sturdy. I would buy it again.

Just purchased 2 of these (48") from Home Depot. The countertops were purchased elsewhere. They were delivered sooner than they were tracking which was great. Our contractor installed them so I cannot comment on that aspect. They look great in the bathroom. The doors seem to be aligned properly and the drawers are plentiful. The entire back is open so that should help when it comes to installation/plumbing. As another reviewer mentioned, the color is more of a deep brown than a red (as the word "mahogany" would impart), which we prefer and are very happy with. For the price, you can't beat it. You'll just have to work a bit more to find the separate countertops you want and have those installed.
