The manual includes instructions for clearing remotes from the fan's memory and then how to learn a new remote. I'd try that process and see if you can train each to respond to its own remote. ---------- LEARNING PROCESS NOTE: The dip switch in the battery compartment has been set on “0” position and paired for your convenience. If you have two or more fans, please follow steps below to control each fan independently. The learning process causes any installed fan within range to memorize a remote control. Fans can learn five remotes. To add a remote to your fan’s memory, use the steps below: □ Ensure AC power to the fan is OFF to begin the learning process. □ Slide the dip switch in the battery compartment to the "1" position. □ Turn the fan’s AC power ON. NOTE: If installing multiple fans on separate remotes, only the fan being programmed should have AC power turned ON. All other fans, even if they have already been programmed, should have AC power OFF so they do not memorize other remotes during the learning process. Separate the fan power switches by approximately 2 meters. □ Within 60 seconds of turning AC power on, press and release the "LEARN" button located in the remote's battery compartment to enter the learning function. Once the fan has detected the remote controls's frequency, the down light of your fan, if applicable, will blink, and the fan blades will start to spin. □ The fan will now accept commands from the added remote. ---------- To clear all other remotes from your fan’s memory, use the steps below: □ Ensure AC power to the fan is OFF to begin the learning process. □ Slide the dip switch in the battery compartment to the "0" position. □ Turn the fan’s AC power ON. □ Within 60 seconds of turning AC power ON, press and release the “LEARN” button located in the remote’s battery compartment, and your fan will restore to the original setting and dismiss the other remotes.

Beautiful, modern, simplistic, functional, BUT...
This fan is absolutely stunning. It's huge, beautiful, and minimalist, yet very practical. I love the matte black color and the 62" span is perfect for our great room. The light has three different color settings and is dimmable to ensure you can match whatever mood you're trying to set. The remote is also very functional; it has buttons to turn the light on/off, change the light color, change the direction the fan blades spin, control the fan speed, and set it on a timer. Additionally, the light on the left side of the remote shows where your current setting is in relation to how much higher/faster or lower/slower you can go. It works for both the fan speed and the light dimmer. There weren't any issues with stability -- no shaking or rocking. Overall a great product. My only complaints are 1) how frustrating it is to install. Apparently you're supposed to put the adapter/remote sensor between the harness and the ceiling -- not inside the mount. The instruction manual doesn't say this. Also, if you have your wiring set up for one switch to control the light and another to control the fan, say goodbye to that. There's no way to keep those separate with this fan. You can only set it up to have one switch feed into the fan, which controls both the light and the blades. This was a really big disappointment for me. I wish the adapter had separate wiring to feed into each switch, but it wasn't a big enough dealbreaker for me to return. Home Decorators, if you're listening, please come out with an adapter that has this capability!

This is the largest fan I have ever installed, however never fear, the directions are easy to follow. This is a 62 inch Celene fan manufacturer for Home Depot's decorators line. It is stylish, with it's clean smooth lines. It arrived in one box with many pieces, all of which are well made. Step by assembly is crucial. Make sure your ceiling is solid and the electrical box firmly secured to the rafters, this fan is heavier than most. It comes complete with remote control, which turns on and off, adjusts speed, light, and up or down air flow. The light output is adjustable to set the proper mood.

Wow! This 62” fan from the Home Decorator’s Collection shouts quality, performance, and innovation. To begin with, the Celene fan is rated for indoor and outdoor applications, and we elected to use this fan in an outdoor setting under our pergola. The installation was pretty straightforward but was tedious in some areas. The 62” blades offer superior CFM’s vs. the 52”. The high-end 52” blades offer 4831 CFMs, yet the 62” blades offer 7183 CFMs. On an outdoor setting, the higher CFMs really push the air. The motor is DC electric, allowing you to change the blade rotation at the remote with just a touch of a button. Other AC electric motors require you actually to climb up on a ladder to change the selector switch. The selections for the light lumens are phenomenal. There are several choices to make regarding 3000 to 5000 lumens and offers the choice of bright light, soft light, or daylight. Once mounted, it really enhanced the usefulness of our outdoor grill and bar area. All-in-all, the Celene Fan is a great choice no matter if you plan to use it indoors or outdoors.

I got this fan for the Great Room of our new lake house. It will be mounted in the cathedral ceiling in the center of the room. I love the color changing technology and the ability to dim the light. However, with only 870 lumens of light, it will require a fair amount of auxillary lighting to actually light the room. With the fireplace in the room, though, it will work well for mood lighting in the evenings. It is well built, and has a remote control for operations. That is one thing, though. It only operates through the remote control, so don't lose it! The instructions said there was an installation video, but, I couldn't find a link to it. Due to the ceiling height, and the fact that it is going into a new building, our electrical contractor will be installing it, but, as a DYI person, I would normally install this myself. I also love the lifetime warranty on it.

The Home Decorators Collection Celene 62 inch LED indoor/outdoor ceiling fan with light and remote control is a fantastic fan for moving air and different lighting modes (3000k color cool white, 4000k color mid-tone, 5000k color warm) which are dimmable. This is a perfect size for my 24' x 24' Great room open area. The instructions to install are very easy. The fan blades went on with out any problems holding them in the correct aligned position. The wiring only requires connecting the remote receiver to the three wires: hot, ground, and neutral. The wires harness is just plug in-to two connectors that to control the fan and light. The remote is easy to operate with the simple to set up clear instructions. The fan is quiet and you get the WOW feeling when the air is flowing.

I installed this fan on our covered deck and, WOW, it looks great! The size, the eight blades, are impressive. It has a little bit of a classic feel to it, but also an industrial vibe. It's well made. It's solid and well balanced. Out-of-the-box there's zero vibration, even at higher speeds. Assembly is fairly standard for a remote controlled ceiling fan. Wiring is typical. And, for me, there's the usual trickiness of getting the controller module to fit in the hanger along with the wiring. The fan only comes with one down rod of about 6 inches, but it includes a wiring harness with the appropriate connectors to extend the wiring if you choose to use a longer down rod. You'll want to get a threaded down rod. Be careful when you perform Step 3 of the instructions (Assembling the fan). It was clearly indicated in the instructions and picture, but I carelessly missed installing the "slip coupling cover". I had to completely pull down the fan and disassemble the motor from the down rod to install the cover. It's purely cosmetic, but if you're going to install a fan this nice, there shouldn't be pieces left in the box when you're done. I was impressed at how easily the blades attached. They're each attached with 3 bolts, but the mount was counterbored in a way to guide the bolts squarely into each threaded hole. A subtle design detail, but what a difference it made in assembly time. The fan is controlled completely from a remote control. You can select fan speed and direction, and independently from the fan, control the light dimmer and choose from 3 color tones. There are also three fan setting that automatically vary the speed of the fan to simulate a comfortable breeze. Lastly, it includes a timer that will automatically shut off the fan after 2, 4, or 8 hour. If you control power to the fan from a light switch, it will remember the settings from when it was powered off the next time you turn it on. And because the fan and light are completely controlled via the remote control, you only need one power circuit. In other words, you don't need a separate circuit for the fan and light so that you can control them from separate wall switches.

Living in Florida we need a fan that can circulate air so we can enjoy our outdoor patio area. This 62 inch fan with nine blades does the job. The DC motor is energy efficient and the nine speeds gives you the flexibility to get the desired air flow. The fan has a nice black finish that will hold up well in the humid outdoors. I like the 3 light settings of bright, medium or soft.Overall quality appears to be excellent. The fan includes a cradle to store your remote. As for installation, a few of the screws were hard to get started & I had to make several attempts to get all the wires tucked away when attaching the light. Other than that, no real issues with the installation. You will not be disappointed with this fan!

This is a really big fan that moves a ton of air. It is also pretty easy to install. The quality of he construction is very good as is the design. A couple of things to be aware of. The remote control module that goes in the ceiling bracket is a tight fit. I had to loosen the bracket to the ceiling slightly, insert it and then retighten the screws. The blades mount directly to the motor. No blade brackets. They require a plate on top of the blade that the screws go through. I had a helper on another ladder hold the blade while I got the first screw started. Once we figured out the system it went well. The operation is quiet and the remote has lots of features. The light can change "color" and also dims. The fan speeds are also changed with the remote. Be aware there is no "manual" operation of the fan.

This fan is huuuuuuge! This is something you would see on the back of an air boat. It has 8 angled blades that scoop the air and 9 settings for the speeds. This is a fan is for a very large room and although it looks really good top speed will never be used in my 30 x 20 lounge because I would freeze. Comes with a remote control and batteries. Instructions are clear but still a bit of work to do to install it. The fan is energy friendly and the light is dimmable.
