Cooper Springs White Metal Commercial Grade Sling Outdoor Chaise Lounges with External Wheels (2-Pack)

The Hampton Bay Cooper Springs White Metal Commercial Grade Sling Outdoor Chaise Lounges with External Wheels (2-Pack) came especially well-packed for their journey from China. For example, the inside of the box at the location of the legs, there is a piece of plastic attached to the box to prevent the leg from breaking through the box and becoming damaged. See a photo. All of the arms and legs were wrapped in thick paper with a foam backing to prevent scratching. Upon arrival the box weighs 88 lbs. The chairs weigh 45.5 lbs. That would suggest that the packing materials weigh 42.5 lbs. That seems high. My guess is that the chairs may weigh more than 22.75 lbs. each. Putting the wheels on took only a few minutes. The instructions illustrate the process clearly. The included hardware has some quirks. The bolt is 16 mm but the lock nut is 17 mm. It is not clear why a lock washer is needed with a lock nut. An extra set of nuts and bolts is included but not an extra spacer so it is not a complete set for installing a wheel. Those quirks though don’t affect its functionality. With the wheels on, the lounge chair is easy to move wherever. The back may be easily adjusted into four positions. It cannot be positioned to lie completely flat. One photo shows the chair on the left in the most upright position and the chair on the right is in the most reclined position. The chairs stack easily for storage. Our chairs have been outside for a while and show no effects of the weather. They appear as good as when they arrived. Even without a cushion, this lounge chair is reasonably comfortable. The only exception is when the chair is in the most reclined position. In that position, the gap between the seat and the base is rather large which may make sitting in the chair somewhat uncomfortable depending upon one’s anatomy. See a photo. In that case a cushion or thick towel may be helpful. Since the chairs are made in China, there is no USA customer service. The frame is guaranteed for five years and the fabric for three years. The fabric is not replaceable.

Well made with a metal frame that has what feels like a plasticized powder coating that seems like it will provide excellent rustproofing. They do not fold so come essentially fully assembled in a very large box. This little old broad could drag the box from my front to back yard without help, so not super heavy. The only thing to do after unpacking is pop on the wheels. The webbed fabric breathes, which is great on hot days, but of course is not the softest to spend time on. The gap between back and seat is small, which is good, but the fabric edges can still rub against bare skin. If planning to spend hours at a time on them, I recommend adding full lounge chair pads for real comfort. The arms are smooth, wide and comfortable. The white color is good for reflecting the sun, and these chairs are easy to wash because they don’t have a lot of nooks and crannies. A few cons- The seat back pitch can be adjusted but you must get out of the seat and go behind it to directly grab the bracket. It does not lift or drop from any mechanism that can be reached while seated unless you’re a contortionist. Because they don’t fold, they are large to store. They do stack tightly though. QC was not up to par as one of the chairs’ cross bars where the back adjusters hook on, is bent, and I know it was like that from the factory because they were packed impeccably prohibiting any damage to that area. These chairs are well constructed, sturdy and weather-resistant. Replacement fabric or mesh with splines is readily available, and the simple frames are easy to repaint, so these lounges can last for decades.

These look like commercial resort grade lounge chairs. The materials are first rate with a rigid aluminum frame covered by an off white matte powder coated finish. The web or sling as they call it is a plastic material strung very tight, it is waterproof and dries quickly. The sling is also very comfortable, there should be no need for a pad on this chaise lounge. There are wheels on one end of the chair so one person can easily move it without dragging, it is very light as well. If you lay both of the backs down as flat as they can go the chairs are stackable as well. There is some minor assembly required, you have to mount the wheels, all the hardware and tools are supplied with the chairs. These are great chairs for the money.

I've had the Hampton Bay Cooper Springs chaise lounges (2 pack) for a few weeks now and my wife and I love them. The white painted aluminum frames are strong, yet lightweight. The external wheels make it easy to roll them to our desired location in the yard. The adjustable back is comfortable and the mesh fabric is strong. Definitely a great commercial grade chaise lounge.

White Aluminum Frame Chaise Lounge These are white coated aluminum framed outdoor lounge chairs. Lightweight because aluminum, but sturdy. The chairs came fully assembled, except for the wheels. All hardware and tools required to bolt the wheels on were provided. The wheels on the back legs make these chairs very easy to move around. The white sling fabric seat and back are study feeling and give enough to be comfortable. The back adjusts to several positions, but does not lay completely back perfectly flat. When sitting, the arms are at a comfortable height. We like these comfortable chairs and they are a great addition to our patio.

My initial review of this item was very positive. I based this on the function of just one of the chairs though. When I went to use the second chair a couple of weeks later I found that the frame was actually constructed too tightly. When trying to adjust the back, the frame of the back scraped against the frame of the chair scraping the paint off both pieces. While this is not a dealbreaker, being commercial grade, I did expect a little better construction. It did allow me to confirm that it’s made of aluminum.

Last month, I got the Cooper Springs White 5-Piece Aluminum Outdoor Dining Set (315093811). I love it and have used it every day since. I am not much of a lounging person, but knowing how much I liked the Dining Set, I was interested in trying these. When I read reviews they stacked, I immediately ordered them! They arrive two in a box. The box was pretty beat up. So, I expected some damage. They were fine, except for a small scratch (which on the plus side, I can verify they are Aluminum). I love the innovative packing material. The binding strap holding them together had a clip and they used garden hose as spacers (see pics). Something I have also never seen before, the hardware to attached the wheels (which it the only assembly required), uses a lock washer and lock nut? Wheels work great, even on grass. They are labeled 'Home Decorators Collection' and they do stack. Having read reviews, I thought I might be bothered by them not laying 100% flat, but the incline is so small, it is not an issue for me. I like how the material is tight enough, and the braces low enough, that my 220 pounds does not sink into them. They are UV-Resistant, but are bird poo targets (were hit twice, even before I was finished putting them together). If like me, you have lots of birds, maybe white is not the best choice? I have only had them a short time, but seem to be great quality, for a very fair price.

These chaise lounge chairs arrived well packed. Initially, they had a strong chemical odor, but that went away in a day or two. They were easy to assemble with clear instructions on how to attach the wheels. That was the only assembly needed. They look great and and nice to sit or lie on. They are light-weight, yet sturdy. I have them out in the garden, but if I had a pool, I would place them there.

Beautiful, very comfortable lounge chairs. These come 2 packaged in a single box and packed as to be very well protected through shipping. Extremely easy assembly as all you need to do is attach the wheels. All the tools and hardware are included. These chase lounge chairs are made with 5 seating positions by adjusting the back. 4 slotted positions ensure a comfortable seating position or they can be laid flat. The frame is all steel and is well made, welded and painted. The seats are made of a weaved poly vinyl material that is comfortable yet durable and weather resistant.

I selected these chairs for a couple of reasons. First, I wanted something that I could relax on when family and friends come to visit and we’re sitting around out on the patio. Second, for the price, you actually get two chairs and not just one. These definitely live up to the description. They are a commercial grade lounge chair. The construction of the metal frame is solid, and not just “spot” welded together. And the material for the seat and the back is pulled nice and tight providing lots of support. The specifications indicate it can handle up to 250 pounds. Now that’s what I call a very sturdy chair. The chair comes fully assembled with the exception of the wheels that go on the back. Everything needed to attach them is included, even two wrenches which you will definitely need to use to tighten the bolts. Each chair measures 24 inches wide between the armrests and 38 inches tall with the bag in its highest position. The back is adjustable for multiple positions of comfort. They are also stackable with the back rest laying flat which will make them easier to store. I know that I will be getting many years of use out of these chairs.
