Q:What kind of underpayment should I use with this

A: Thank you for your question. If you are installing over a concrete subfloor, use a 6 mil polyethylene film as a moisture barrier. You do not need a moisture barrier if your subfloor is wood. Sound control underlayment is optional. If you choose to use sound control underlayment, we recommend you use a less compressive material. Check with the underlayment manufacturer for application guidelines.

A: Thank you for your question. You will need a laminate floor repair kit; Home Depot carries a few of these. As this floor has a range of colors and shades, your needs will vary depending on the extend and placement of the scratch. We do not have a specific repair kit that we suggest for the EIR Courtship Grey Oak, so we don't have enough information to recommend which will work best. I would suggest speaking to an associate in the flooring department at your local Home Depot and asking them which products they've had the best experience with. As far as we're concerned, any repair kit should work as long as the product is intended to work on laminate floors and offers a color selection that suits your needs. If you're unsure if a product you've selected will work for you, I'd suggest you contact the repair kit's manufacturer to ask for application guidelines.
