Blades are not wood but plastic and had rub spots...
Blades are not wood but plastic and had rub spots on them from the packing that wore the fake wood grain off. Fortunately the blades are pretty dark so we touched them up with a sharpie marker but I could have gotten a much cheaper fan of better quality for the money they’re charging for this fan. My husband said the blades were a pain to install but other than those that it was easy to get up and running. We have the fan mounted outside on our covered patio so I’m interested to see how it holds up.

In general, if there are any issues with the fan, we suggest calling Home Decorators Collection customer service at 1-800-986-3460. In most cases, issues can be resolved over the phone.
