I just had this fan installed on our 18' ceiling. I bought the extension downrod separately. The fan is very good looking, and it really moves air. The LED lamp has several brightness settings, which is good. It is what we needed to replace our wimpy 48" fan in the living room. The fan does not have wiring for separate fan and lights wall switch controls, just one for power. The remote control does all the work. I gave it 4 stars because for some reason the fan does not respond to commands in a prompt manner. It takes several seconds to react and you get the impression that it did not receive the first command. Also, there is no wall holder for the control remote. Very odd.

Moves a lot of air and quiet
I'm very pleased with this fan. Originally thought I would need two fifty-two inch fans for the room, but it covers more area and looks very impressive. Easy to install. No problems. We have five fans in the house and this is my favorite. It moves a lot of air. Even on low speeds it is moving more air than two 54 inch fans. Everyone comments on how beautiful and impressive it is when they see it. The eight blades are very sleek looking and I love the remote and dimmable LED light. Don't hesitate on this fan. You won't be disappointed.

Mind of its own
Turns on and off randomly attempts to switch directions on its own when powering on. It does put off a lot of air. Fortunately the motor has a lifetime warranty. Some of the tolerances on screw holes is not great. Don't force them home take your time and they'll thread in.

Easy to install, only issue was when I was done the fan made a grinding noise. Upon inspection the plate holding LED light on was bent. Took 5 mins to adjust that issue with a total install time of 45 mins by myself.

screw housing not threaded
Screw housing is not threaded wasn’t able to finish the installation of the fan at the last step. After spending an hour assembling everything else. Not recommended save your time and money

Great looking fan. The light is bright and the controls are easy to use. The fan does give off good breeze... but just a little disappointed as I expected it to be a whole lot of wind... it is good air movement but I just expected more. I am overall very happy with it.

We have two large vaulted ceiling living rooms. 20×30. We needed a strong statement piece that would move a lot of air. This fan is perfect. Its says outdoor but it's perfect for indoors too in a large room. You simply can't find a fan of this size with dimmable LED for anywhere near this price. We bought two fans for same price as 1 from other brands. It's great quality includes extruded aluminum blades which look great. It also has many settings including adjustable comfort breeze. Super quiet. Highly recommended!!

This is a mega industrial fan! At 84 inches with 8 blades. You will want to utilize this in a large area. This could be used in an indoor/outdoor covered commercial/retail area or a large covered patio area outside. Or even at home like we chose, to replace an existing ceiling fan we had in our garage (which is 28'x32') and this was plenty big enough if not overkill. My husband put this up and said it was the easiest ceiling fan he has ever installed. He didn't even ask for my help this time!
I love the remote and all the choices you have.
It has 9 speeds with reverse.
Comfort Breeze button which gives you three choices of settings, each one alternates through a set of speeds, i.e., setting 1 alternates through speeds 1-3, setting 2 alternates through speeds 1-6, and setting 3 alternates through speeds 1-9.
There is a warm weather and a cool weather button to switch from forward to reverse
And a dimmer button for the18-W Samsung LED module 3000K LED (warm white) light.
It was easy to pair, and it is so quiet even when it runs on the highest setting.
I like the modern industrial brushed nickel style too! And it doesn't hurt to have a lifetime motor warranty.
