This is a nice sturdy fan.
It is operated by the included remote control.
When you turn the switch on it returns to the position it was when you turn the fan off.
If it was on low speed and the light is off, that is what it returns to when the wall switch is turned on..
It comes with a 6” x 3/4” rod. It seems more like 9” that it hangs down.
It does not allow for close ceiling installation, but you could purchase a shorter rod.
The glass light shade is 7” in diameter.
It is the lowest part of the fan and hangs down 14.5” from the ceiling.
The light is dimmable and the fan has a variety of settings.
The Fan has eight blades. Two blades on each arm.
It is very quiet.

Wow, I am amazed with this ceiling fan. This fan has so many features, I really love it. It comes complete with all the hardware and instructions, a Philips screwdriver is all you need besides a wire cutter. It is easy to put together and install. It looks fantastic and is super quiet. Everything is controlled with the remote. Total time for the install was about an hour. It does produce a lot of air movement. The LED light is dimmable and the fan speed is also controllable, meaning not just Low, Medium and High, it is variable. Truly an awesome fan!

The Home Decorators Collection Milbourne 60 in. Integrated LED Indoor Espresso Bronze Ceiling Fan with Light and Remote Control is such a well made and great looking light/fan combo! The installation instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Our home is 17 years old though, so we've found our wiring is a bit different/outdated for these new models of fans and appliances. The switch panel on the wall includes two switches and a knob (see photo) - all to operate lights and fans separate of each other. The newer models also have that capability - but don't require separate switches and speed knobs. The fan can still be installed and used - but requires more than just basic knowledge (most likely hiring an electrician).

This was an excellent looking fan and we decided to put it in our master bedroom rather than the family room like our original plan that was to replace the fan in the family room. It wasn't difficult to put up but there was an existing outlet box that was not a deep mount and it was important to anchor the fan securely to the box. Otherwise, the fan would develop a wobble and rock on the mount, which is what happened to me. The latter caused me to disassemble and remount using a wider stance, securely snugging the mounting screw down. The results was a very quiet fan that gave us a tremendously wide volume of air at medium speed (see video). We love the air circulation and believe you will also because it also allowed us to bump our ac thermostat up. The fan is very responsive to the seamless, remote control that has a timer (for fan and light), dimmer and a few more features. The receiver is self contained within the fan housing, so there is no need to deal with wired connections for it. We are very pleased so far and we will very highly recommend.

Enjoy the air movement is how I would describe Home Decorators Melbourne 60 Inch ceiling Fan. I consider the air movement exceptional. The operation of the fan is very smooth and quite. I have installed fans with integrated Lights before and have not enjoyed the amount of light they put out. This fan with integrated LED is above average. I think installation is on par with other fans that I have installed. If you have not experienced installing a fan read the instructions completely prior to starting. Most modern homes that have electrical box for fans utilize 3 wire cables with two switches one for the fan and one for the light. This fan only has two wires (hot & neutral) so you will have dead wire and switch. I don’t think that it is a con because the remote control makes up for the control, however if the light was control by a 3 way switch with two locations utilize that wire. The remote receiver is integrated with the fan motor instead of an add on and is paired with the fan right out of the box. I would recommend this fan.

Impressive looking fan with 60" span, eight blades and rustic/industrial hardware. The fan is very quiet at all nine speeds and very efficient. At speed 1 it creates the perfect light breeze for sleeping. The unit is designed to be installed on a downrod, not flush mount. It comes with a 6 inch downrod but it would work with a shorter rod if you have lower ceilings. Installation is very straightforward. The control unit is integrated with the motor assembly, so the only hookups are AC Hot, Neutral, and GND. The light and fan are powered from the same circuit, so you won't be able to use separate wall switches to control them. All the control is done via the remote. If you happen to have other fans that use the same remote, it's easy to train the fan/remote pairing to only control the single fan. The only tricky part for me was assembling the unique blade mounts. Each mount holds two blades, each with a slightly different mounting pattern. The part that kept getting me, however, was the top and bottom of the mounts. I had to dissemble two of the four assemblies because I had installed the blades upside-down. It shouldn't have been that difficult, but just be careful or you'll create extra work. The blade mounts do come with captive screws, which made attaching them to the motor very easy.

This is a fantastic fan and it lots of features that would be welcome improvements on other fan. It seems very study and well built. The parts fit together well while being assembled. The blade assembly is different in that two blades attach to each blade bracket. The blades are even different in terms of attachment holes. Also, there is a decorative "nut" that fits through a square hole in the bracket and the screws insert from above. I really like that system.
Another thing I really like is that the remote receiver is built in the fan, not in a box you have to cram in the ceiling bracket. Those have always given me fits and this was so easy.
The fan is very quiet and the remote works well. I like the fact hat it takes regular AAA batteries, not the special 12 volt batteries that some take.
The LED fan light is very bright.
Just an all round great addition to my gardening shed.

The install is very easy if you are upgrading a fan. Wire is as simple as it can get.
Instructions are right on. Just make sure the power id OFF before removing or installing.
A very low profile LED light hit is included and must be installed as this unit also holds the remote part of this fan unit.
Remote comes with batteries. In the pictures below, you can see the two different sides of fam blades.
There 3 screws in each blade to install. These will keep blades in place better than most other fan blades install, because of the rubber washers on each screw.
Very low fan noise compared with other fans.

I am extremely pleased with everything about the Home Decorators Collection Milbourne 60 In fan. It was very easy to put together and install. The wiring was your basic 3 wires, Black, White and green. The transmitter receiver for the remote is built into the LED light assembly, so I did not have to wire that also, and cram it into the fan mounting bracket. The wires came long enough for me to purchase and use a 36 in down rod. The LED light assembly is made by Samsung and has 29 tiny LED bulbs that give off light equivalent to a 60 watt bulb, plenty of light for our living room. This is a quality made fan that compliments the room, with the 8 blades and the espresso bronze color. The DC motor has 9 speeds and is super quiet, even on high speeds ! LOVE THIS FAN !

I just got this Home Decorators Collection Milbourne 60 in. Ceiling Fan. The color is what they call Espresso Bronze and comes with LED Light integrated with the fan. You don't have to buy an additional light kit. The ceiling Fan offers a reversible brazilian walnut or an aged pecan blade that you can use either side. The DC motor has nine speeds, Nine!!!! Who does that? Again included is a remote control with the dimming and speed functions. Nice design and looks very cool. I put one con below because it is a bit difficult to put together. That in my opinion is for most ceiling fans.
