We are sorry to hear that you had this issue. There is a complete installation video located on the product page to assist with each step of the installation. On high speed, the fan should produce an airflow of 4,359 CFM. Please make sure that the fan is operating in the proper direction to create a downward airflow. The reverse switch is located at the base of the fan just above the light kit. If you feel the fan is not operating properly, please call Home Decorators Collection customer service at 1-800-986-3460 and one of the team members will be able to get more information to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Tropical outdoor fan
I paid to have this fan installed. Was done quickly with no problems and no missing parts. My patio is 9 feet high. Chain is long enough for me to reach. Puts out sufficient breeze even in Texas heat. And of course looks very nice kon my patio

Easy install, looks nice. Wish it came with a remote without spending an additional $75. Blades are plastic and should tolerate Florida's humidity.

Over time
Over time this outdoor fan blades starts to bend downwards, looking terrible! I would never buy these again!

We are sorry to hear that you had this issue. The blades are made of ABS and should not bend. The issue may be with loose blade arms. Please make sure that the blade arms are completely tightened and positioned correctly. If that does not resolve the issue, please call Home Decorators Collection customer service at 1-800-986-3460 and one of the team members will be able to get more information about the issue. They will also be able to send any replacement parts if necessary.

Thank you for your question. The fan's light can be wired to a dimmer switch or the fan can be installed with a remote control that has a dimming function. The included bulbs are not dimmable but can be replaced with dimmable bulbs if a dimming function is desired.
