I purchased this duvet cover on sale for the pretty flower design. It washed and dried well without fading, but it’s not as soft as some covers I have purchased. It does have ties on the corners to prevent the comforter from shifting, but has a button closure. I have found zipper closures to be much better. Wrinkles are slightly noticeable and I definitely needed to iron the shams.

Duvet review
Quick delivery to store, pick-up was smooth and easy. Well-constructed duvet cover, fabric has good weight for a coverlet. The print is a pleasing combination of blues, grays and rose. Take note, though, that there are three large, faintly rose-colored flowers in the design about one yard from the bottom of the duvet. They are so much lighter than the rest of the print that I thought it might be a flaw, but found the same in a user photo. It is not visible in the homedepot.com photos. I am not sure I would have bought this duvet if I had seen a full-view of it before ordering.

Until recently, I've never had a duvet set before. I'm typically a quilt person but have now found that these are great space savers for people like me who like to switch up their bedding frequently. I didn't have a duvet comforter yet, so I am using a quilt inside. You actually can't tell the difference by looking at it and it provides the thickness I prefer. I was afraid the quilt would slide around within the duvet cover since there are no ties, I could easily pin some on, but there really hasn't been any shifting to complain about. Definitely cold water wash this duvet with color safe detergent and remove from dryer immediately. Light ironing may be preferred. The colors in this design are comfortably neutral with subtle splashes of blue, rose and gold, with the gold playing off of wood tones. The design has a timeless quality that feels like it would work equally as well with antique furniture as it would more modern trends. The 'washed denim' side is also a gorgeous periwinkle shade (not actual denim). Very nice looking bedding.
