Product Details
Solid Strand Woven Bamboo Flooring offered in a Tongue and Groove style joint and stylish finish. This flooring features a janka rating of 4,000, more than three and a half times harder than Red Oak. The durable 11 layer polyurethane/aluminum oxide finish offers a high scratch resistance while maintaining a beautiful appearance. The higher stability and unique construction of Strand Woven Bamboo allows for glue down or Elastilon installation over multiple subfloors on or above grade. Whether installing over concrete or plywood/OSB, this flooring has you covered. An existing home should have a consistent room temperature of 65°F - 75°F and relative humidity (RH) of 40% - 55%. Continual deviation from these conditions will affect the dimensions of flooring (see installation guide for more details).

Q:The specs shows this can be installed over cork underlayment it also states to be installed as glue down so can you lay the cork underlayment down then glue it using the adhesive to the underlayment?

Q:The installation instructions say you can attach a vapor barrier over concrete. Won't the thin vapor barrier just get ripped up when you trowel on the glue? Doesn't this result in a glued down floor essentially floating on the barrier?

Worth the hassle
It took some calling in of favors as this was not available in my area. Luckily a colleague delivered it from San Antonio to Phoenix. It is the perfect outdoor table top

Old reviews and not the same product
DO NOT BUY!!! Something has changed in the last year the pictures in the reviews and on the product page are not what you will get. Boards have deep rectangular grooves on top and poor finish and different coloring. Manufacturer has changed to bad product

Looks nice upon install but scratches extremely easily
Do not buy this in java. It scratches extremely easily. I can’t imagine if I had a dog these would be destroyed in a heartbeat. Already can’t have anyone wear shoes. Scratches Looks like white hairs. A plastic laundry basket sliding On the floor will scratch it. I regret not listening to other reviewers.

While we have only had them a few weeks, we absolutely LOVE our new floors. We had the entire downstairs professionally installed and have since decided to have it installed in our upstairs as well. We have a very old home (115 years) so we wanted to find something that would maintain that 'old home charm'. After much research (over the course of a year in fact), we kept coming back to this Honey Solid Bamboo flooring. The distressed look/color goes very well with our old home. The varying size/colors of the planks make for a beautiful as you can see by the pictures.
Few quick tips. If your floors are uneven at all, have these professionally installed. Our installer was beating these pretty good with a mallet to get them into place. If you are taking these out of the box yourself to acclimate to your home, you may want to wear gloves or you will get a healthy share of splinters from the underside of the wood. Finally, do yourself a favor and have them delivered to your home if possible, these boxes were heavy.

Purchased Distressed Dark Honey over 800 SQ feet of this product. I did not use the glue down option instead opted for 18 Gauge 1 inch crown staples. It looks a lot better once installed then in the store display or the sample. Few bad pieces from the 39 boxes that I ordered but that was expected. We searched a lot before making this purchase and even missed out on a 20% off on these floors but are very happy. Only time will tell how they hold up but so far so good.

Distressed honey color
Looks awesome! We love the dark wood color and we only had ~20 unusable boards throughout 20 packs due to either very light coloration or a defect in the tongue and groove. We love them. Installation was harder than expected due to the glue as DIYers. Also, the distressed look should really help hide scratches and imperfections.

Highly recommended affordable flooring
I went with distressed dark honey. Looks fantastic. Love the variation in color. Had it down for over a year now and holds up fine to my big, crazy dog. My two cents:
* I like the solid over the click option. I've installed both. The click option couldn't be easier to install (did a whole living room in a day with the click) but your floor needs to be very level and the underlayment is pretty expensive.
* I nailed it down. Yes that voids the warranty apparently but when am I going to return a floor? The glue is very expensive and I'm not gluing anything down to my sub floor. My flooring nailer didn't work on this since it's so hard so I used a finish nailer. Another no-no probably but between the tongue and groves and finish nails, the floor isn't going anywhere.
* Had maybe 2 or 3 boards out of 12 boxes that were a little too "distressed". Not a big deal. Probably would have looked fine anyway and I want some extras on hand.

Flooring purchased for new home office. Added bonus: since this flooring requires gluing down instead of
nailing (like some solid woods) or free floating (like laminate), it does not click or move when walking on it.

The floor looks great, but beware the installation is messy. This floor can only be installed using glue, so the process was hard and sticky. Be sure you buy the glue wipes for easier clean up.
