I can't believe this is a Home Depot rug! So soft and smooth and the color is stunning! It feels like much more expensive rugs that I've had. We put it in our guest room but I think I'll be getting another for our master.

The area rug showed me the quality upon opening the wrapping. The ends laid down flat in a very short time. The colors mix well together and the look of it is elegant. The gold mixed in the rug gives it a touch of class. The area rug definitely looks like it is very high quality. It is not too thick it may give me problems during cleaning. I love my new area rug!

If you do not have to worry about clashing with other patterns (sofa, curtains, wallpaper) in your space, the HOME DECORATORS COLLECTION TALYA IVORY/RED 5 FT. X 7 FT. MEDALLION AREA RUG may be perfect for you. The pattern and colors in this area rug are bright and cheery. Some of the colors seem to luminesce in the sun. This rug lays down well almost as soon as you put it down. It is thick enough to provide warmth to your floor in the winter and resists fading and staining.

If you want to use this rug in a hard surface floor, I suggest getting a non slip mat for under the rug. The rug measurements were very close to advertised at 5’ by 7’. The pile is 100% polypropylene and measures about 1/2” high. It is a very dense pile, and super soft. It feels great underfoot. The edges are tightly bound using gray fiber that matches the rug itself. I would call the “red” more of a burnt orange/red depending on what angle you view it. Super luxe feeling area rug called Tayla Blue from the Home Decorators Collection. I was so surprised at how plush it is and its softness. The blue and cream colors blend nicely together. Other colors are a gold sage and slightly teal lighter blue. There were no smells when I opened it up, and the rug was laying nice and flat within a day or two. Its actual size is 5’3” x 7’3”. I chose this rug for our home office, but really like it in my great room and may just keep it there. I highly recommend it!

This is a nice area rug. Not real big but serves a purpose for me. My recliner likes to nick my hardwood floor so I wanted a nice looking rug to go under it and protect the floor. I included a picture of the back so you can see how it is made. I like the colors. The top is soft, my doggie likes laying on it. The back is not either soft or very scratchy. I wouldn't mind something bigger for this room and may get it but this is doing the job for now.

We like this rug. It's a very traditional patterned rug. It is unique that is changes colors as you move your point of view looking at the rug. From one angle it is very dark sky blue, then from another angle it has very sage green hues that overtake the sky blue. It's like having two different rugs. It's a low pile rug, not very thick so it works well in our high traffic area. A good rug.
