Home Decorators Collection Trenblay Melamine Dinner Plates not for me.
Home Decorators Collection Trenblay Melamine Dinner Plates in Natural Beige a bit of a disappointment. They are molded plastic plates. They are NOT microwave safe. They are dishwasher safe. Plastic scratches easily. I cannot say these would be good daily dishes. These would be great for kids, especially when you have a group of kids over, or you are going on a picnic, or to the lake or even in a bug-out bag. The color is nice and food does stay on the plates. A nice ridge around the plate takes care of that. There are BPA Free. Made in China.
Overall, I would not use these for daily dishes. More like specialty.
I rate these 2*s out of 5. They're fair, but nothing to rave home about. Sorry.

This Will Become Your Go-To Dinnerware
These Are Fantastic ... over many, many years our family has used and enjoyed these plates. This version is very big so take that into account when you chose them. You might actual use the salad plate instead of the bigger, dinner version. They come in a zillion colors and seem to be dishwasher safe. Oh, by the way, did we say that they are practically indestructible. Don't worry about dropping them. You might have a mess, but you won't have a broken plate. Not ever.

Love the raised edges on plates
Melamine is the way to go when you entertain outside! I always worry about broken glass or stoneware when I have guests at my house on the lake. Everyone seems to walk around without shoes during summer so these plates with be perfect for my home. I have the black set and now I have the beige plates (with a nice speckled finish) which are the same Trenblay style. My kitchen/dining area is black and beige so I can use these inside when the weather isn't nice enough to dine outside. The plates are dishwasher safe but NOT microwave safe. They have a 1/2" lip around the plate which keeps your food from running off. I absolutely love that feature! Plates are 10-1/2" wide. They're a little on the thin side but I'm sure they'll hold up just fine. I have a hard time finding melamine dishes during the warmer months so it's great that these can be purchased at Home Depot! Combine them with other colors from the same collection to add more interest!

Pass the plate
Melamine Dinner Plates in Charcoal Black are pretty! These can have multiple uses besides dinner plates. My wife wanted some flower pot saucers and these are excellent for that because of the lips these have; they are vertical instead of sloped.
If you are familiar with Melamine then you know NOT to put these in a microwave oven!! They are top rack dishwasher safe, though. Melamine is great for picnics as they will not blow away as paper plates may do, but these can also be used as paper plate holders if you want to use them for that.. Enjoy!!

Nice Set of Plates
Home Decorators and The Home Depot offer a nice set of 6 Dinner Plates !
These plates are available in this black and a natural beige ! They came
very well packaged and safe ! The big plus for these plates is their lighter
weight ! (see photos) They also stack very good. Also they are both micro-
wave and dish washer safe ! These plates also have a 1/2 inch lip to help
keep you from spilling your food off the edge. I do recommend these plates ! .

They don’t stack very well. If they were in a camper or anything that moved they’d fall everywhere. Shallow lip. Good for camping or kids etc, not great for storing.
