Q:Our remote was always slow to start fan. The remote still lights but doesn't start fan. The support people state they will send me a new receiver. Where is that to go? It is not discussed as a part in the directions.

Goofy remote!
Modern look. Easy to install. Definitely Canadian European product! Directions say plus and minus sign. No signs on remote!
1. Turn on takes few seconds.
2. Plus is the filled in remote blades. On right.
3. Minus is the one filled in blade. On left.
4. Counter clockwise is only when fan is on.

Cheap made
It’s hard plastic material. The instructions are not correct and it’s a bit confusing to install. Not happy with it. I get what I paid for, not a very good color

So far so good
Just installed this in my basement. Air flow is excellent. I like that the unit remembers last setting so I can turn off/on with wall switch. Remote works well and has led’s to indicate speed setting.
I would give 5 stars if the fasteners for blades were Hex/allen bolts instead of pan head screws. They were difficult to tighten with short screw driver up on a ladder. Also, remote battery polarity diagram is confusing. I read it as positive side down and had to flip.

Naysayers aren't doing it right
Everything works great. Easy to install. If you here squeaking, your fan isn't balanced. Take the blades off and fit them together properly at their bases and use the blade weights if you really have to but you shouldn't. The remote is fine. The time it takes to turn on is like 2-3 seconds. People complaining about that need to chill.

“Cool” ceiling fan
Although this fan has only three blades, it puts out a good amount of air and it’s pretty cool looking also. It comes with a remote and has three speeds. We are using it indoors in our office space.

So sad to leave this review
The fan looks great and was exactly the look I wanted for our front porch. Unfortunately like many reviewers, we have major issues with the remote control which renders it useless. I’m going to try to buy a third party remote to see if it helps, but as is, this is a huge disappointment.

Works Well, Good Quality
I read the reviews about difficulty turning the fan on for the first time. Not going to lie, we too had that issue too. The instructions require you to initially "pair" or allow the remote to learn the fan after installation is complete. This should probably be done as part of the manufacturing process and not passed on to the buyer. The new style fan DC motors do not immediately start the fan moving upon hitting the power button/switch. Just sits for a long 5 seconds. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Exactly what I was expecting
Beautiful fan. Pushes a ton of air in my little bedroom. NOTE.. there is a delay when you turn on the fan. I have another type of fan that has a remote and it does the same thing. Once you know to expect it, it's fine. It's only weird the first time you wire it up and turn it on, nothing happens immediately, and you freak out and press more buttons. Don't worry, it's just processing your command.
The dark wood didn't match my room. So I painted them..
