This floor was the first thing we picked out for our new house. Even before paints or color schemes. We were between wanting vinyl or engineered wood, but this was on sale when we bought it and it was cheaper than the vinyl.I hate floors that are one dimensional and really wanted something with high color variation. This definitely suits that taste! In some areas there's even dark greys, aside from the two obvious sand and warmer brown colors. No two boards look the same and the high amount of variation is so pleasing to the eye. The ONLY 'warping' that we have is where our base floor wasn't flat, but this flooring follows the slight curve very well. I could not be any happier with this purchase!

We put this in 2 years ago, at that time we found out after we bought it that HD would not instal...
We put this in 2 years ago, at that time we found out after we bought it that HD would not install bamboo flooring, NBD as I had my contractor put it in. The floor was inside acclimating to the indoor temp for about 4-5 days before installing. A half inch gap was left around all the edges as recommended by the instructions. A vapor barrier was put between the subfloor and this product. Everything was done professionally done according to the guide. We are now having issues of it buckling. It is also not durable whats so ever. Our humidity in the house on average is around 55%. It also scratches and scuffs very easily. I contacted and filed a claim with the manufacturer YongYu Bamboo as i was directed by HD. They denied my claim saying there is nothing they will or can do and stating that it is my problem. When I contacted HD they tell me that there is nothing they can or will do. This was a $5000 plus mistake between the product and install cost. (FYI the sample looks nothing like the entire floor and it doesn't show all the coloring in it). Its really great to see just how much HD stands behind there own branded product-(SARCASM). Unless someone steps up to the plate and does something I WILL NEVER SHOP AT HomeDepot AGAIN. By them not even offering to go to bat for me with their own manufacturer really shows me just how lottle they care about their customers.

Great product! Ordered one box as a sample, ended up ordering for the whole house!
Installed about half of my order so far and am very pleased with this product. We bought one box at first to assemble a small test floor to put in various places around our house. We liked the look of it and ordered 41 more boxes. So far the pieces snap together well and it's easy to cut with a miter saw for fitting. Seems to be good quality. Would recommend it.

This is only the second time I have installed hardwood/laminate wood flooring and this product is so easy to use and so far seems very durable. I've had very few boards that had any kind of blemishes and the snap and lock feature works great. Owning a good miter saw and table saw will make all the difference in the installation process. My only negative about this product is there is a lot of saw dust as part of the cutting process so either do your cutting outside or in a garage.

I have installed several floating floors in the past. This flooring is similar to all the rest as far as installation goes. Pretty simple interlocking system. The flooring was acclimated to my house for 72 hours prior to installation but what I am running into is a section that will not lay flat. I have no binding anywhere and have the required 1/2" space all around the edges everywhere. I thought after the floor settles for a bit it will rectify itself but has not so far. I allowed the sales lady in the flooring department talk us into this floor over the lifeproof vinyl for in our kitchen and totally regret this $1000 decision that I have to live with. Lesson learned It looks nice but it won't lay flat.
