My opening is 28 1/2 wide, will this work or do I need to go a size bigger?

Asked by: justin
The door is is made for a 28-inch opening. The door is actually about 27 3/4 inches. You may have a 3/8-inch gap around the door, which may be OK. I have a 1/4-inch gap. You can't go with a bigger door unless you plan to make the opening bigger.

The opening is 27 3/4 by 80 3/4. should I buy a 28 inch and cut it down? Does that work ok?

Asked by: Thomas
The doors hinged together measure 27.75 " my door opening is 28" and it fits great. I would by the 28" and stand it up in your opening, even if you have to rip a little off of the outer edges of both doors, it will be a better fit.

What is the best way to paint these doors? Brush? Spray? Foam Roller?

What is the best way to paint these doors? Brush? Spray? Foam Roller?
Asked by: ClosetOwner
If you're not trying to match your door paint to your wall paint, a spray can of paint or several cans will work fine. I wanted mine to match and it was a mess using a spray painting device. I ended up painting my louvered doors with a paint brush but on the new set I may try the foam brush or roller.
