This is now the 4th bedroom I’ve used this flooring in. I did one bedroom W/ glue never ever again. Every room since I purchased a cleat nailer and it’s so much smoother and easier and cleaner to work with. This is the4th room I’ve used over 65 boxes of this exact bamboo floor great color. It’s far from weak. It’s a very solid wood floor. I would recommend this floor to anyone. And the reason I gave one less star is for the FACT OF GETTJNG THE FLOOR 2 weeks late and placed on hold for god knows how long bc People at new ro Home Depot dknt know how to do a simple job. The floor is highly HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I had a hard time finding this size flooring, two flooring stores told me this width was discontinued. I finally located on Home Depot website. I wasn't sure the color would match, but on this picture you can't see a difference between the hall and bedroom. We are very pleased with the results.

Free shipping to your local Home Depot Store, this I really appreciated
Floor can be nailed down, I wanted to avoid the glue method
Gorgeous, very attractive flooring option, wife loves the look!
Easy to clean and keep clean, really like the low gloss finish
Can be purchased from Home Depot (on line only) a respected and trusted retailer
Flooring I accepted in my two shipments were of high quality with no major defects
Manufacturer installation instructions are useful and helpful for a do it yourself-er
Very easy to install even for a first time do it yourself-er
5/8 " solid bamboo boards, very substantial flooring that should last
Only been installed about a month so I do not know how the surface will tolerate every day wear and tear. It does seem to scratch easily.
Can only be purchased on-line and not in the store. However, I did get free shipping to the store.
If you need customer support, the on-line division of customer support and your local store customer service is NOT seamless. My first order process was perfect and every detail was as expected. The second order however was received "with exceptions" meaning that several boxes of flooring was severely damaged in shipment. Been over a month and still do not have this issue resolved. Our local HD customer service department has been great! However, they rely the "vendor" to resolve this and the vendor simply has not responded satisfactorily! Also, local store management refused to discuss this with us on one occasion and a second manager did call us and promised to follow up, nope, havn't heard a word in nearly two weeks.
That's all for my personal rant, just know that if you do have problems with your shipment, you experience COULD be similar to ours. I have laid about 700 sq feet of flooring and am very satisfied with the quality of the product and I DO plan to buy another 300 sq feet or so hoping we have no shipping issues!
In summary, I give the product and process 4 stars, would be five stars if I did not have the damaged shipment problem or if HD had a seamless customer service process between on-line orders and in-store purchases. . . Nice product, mostly as expected except where noted.

looks excellent easy install great value
Bought this for my bonus room, about 320 sq, I installed it in 1 weekend with a flooring nailer 16 ga cleats. I had to adjust the nailer so the nails would not hit the tongues, initially the nails were hitting the tongues and the tongues were splitting after the adjustent there were no splits. It looks great. There were no boards that were unusable. There was a good color variation remember to mix up your boxes. We are replacing all the carpet in our upstairs with hardwood. the rest of the upstairs is red oak. Because of the size of this room putting down red oak would have been at least 2 times the price, After it was done my wife said she wishes we did this instead of the red oak. Other reviews mentioned easily scratched. I did not find this to be an issue. For the price you can't beat it. LL was 1.00 a sq more expensive for 3/8.

Paper thin floor
OMG..I had this floor put in my newly remodeled kitchen and it has a deep scratch and it has a tear, for lack of a better word. The wood peeled off already! How cheap can you get? I don't even know how it happened, I didn't drop anything on it?? I have not even used my kitchen, it is still being finished!

Very Beautiful floor
I had this floor professionally installed. It is beautiful, easy to clean, and looks and feels great to walk on. 10/10 would buy again- I've been seeing a lot of reviews say this product scratches easily - just move furniture with care and use common sense and I don't see this becoming an issue. No scratches yet.

Installed as advertised and looks beautiful
I'm giving this product a 5 star rating, but it has only been in a week. I glued it down and it installed well. The glue was hard to keep off of everything. Make sure you have one person slated to follow you through the installation and clean up fresh glue with mineral spirits. Clean up a day later is a real pain. You could spend another 8 hour day cleaning up if you let it dry!
NOTE: Make sure you figure in the glue in your overall price. The glue cost 1/2 of the price of the wood itself! $750 in wood and $350 in glue. The Bamboo glue is more expensive and Home Depot Store only stocks it in $150, 4 gallon buckets. Order a few 1 gallons on line and return what you don't use!! I had to go back for a third bucket ($150), to finish the job, and used less than 1/2 of it!!!
The product looks beautiful and feels beautiful under your bare feet! It's worth the hassle. But plan ahead with the glue and gloves and dedicated clean up person!
