Bought this for a fountain project. Worked easily for the fountain. However, if you are using this for its intended purpose, I wouldn’t recommend it for cold climate areas that have freezing temperatures. It could possibly burst causing leaks.

Thought this was a pewter-colored metal valve. However, it is 100% PLASTIC! Won't work as an outdoor device, as it won;t tolerate the UV more than a season or two. Should've been more vigilant in my reading of the description. Assumptions were made. My bad. Returned the 13 products for brass bibbs

works for me
had to replace the ones on rain barrows that lasted one summer of use. the handles broke easily. Put these on by drilling a new hole just undersize and screwed into barrow. has worked for over two yrs now.

It's Plastic
This product is inexspensive. It may say that it's made of plastic in the wording and I just don't know the lingo to know that; unfortunately I didn't know it and thought it was made of metal. It works and is still worth the cost.

Leaks under pressure
i picked up two, one never held pressure--the other barely held pressure. cheaply made. avoid unless low pressure application.
