Will this run an rv air conditioner
Hi Dave, The EU2200i can usually handle up to a 10,000 BTU A/C. The EU2200i Companion model is perfect for RV use, where a 30A outlet might be preferable. Depending on the BTU of the RV A/C, you may be able to use the Companion model alone. However, we suggest checking with your local Honda dealer. In most cases, you should be fine with a regular EU2200i and the EU2200i Companion paralleled (with a simple parallel cord) to draw the combined power of both units (up to 4400 watts).
Is this generator able to connect to a 24k split air condition inverter.
Hi Mel, Probably not. The wattage required to start it would be too high. And it is also likely operating on 240V power, which is not available on the EU2200i. We’d recommend researching the actual wattage requirement for the actual AC unit you are looking at. Make sure you check the starting wattage – it takes a lot of power to start these. Running wattage is much lower.

Can this generator be used in rain or would I need to make an enclosure?
Hi Chris, Unfortunately, you cannot run any portable generator in the rain or snow. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination. However, running the generator under a covered roof or awning, with plenty of airflow, would be fine.
