Following easy instructions by Honda I filled the generator with recommended oil and some gasoline and it started after a few pulls. This is my 2nd Honda generator

Hurricane Hero
As Hurricane Ian began ravaging the East coast of Florida, our power went out at 8:15 P.M. on Thursday 9/28/2022. No I started my EU 2200 and it never stopped (short of refueling) until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday 10/4/2022. We had our refrigerator/freezer plugged in saving hundreds of dollars in food. We had ice and additionally the power to use a toaster, electric frying pan and other luxury electronics during a catastrophic event. The generator continually ran for 11 hours between refueling. Great buy!

I couldn’t be happier
Got this generator at the curb on garbage night. It’s the older eu200i model 17 years old and counting. Put gas in it and after a few pulls it ran but didn’t sound like it had much power. Indicator lights on panel didn’t work. The white electrical eco throttle part on carb was bad getting stuck. Unplugged it adjusted the carb so it would run steady without it and it puts out full power pretty much bypassing it. We use it on the job everyday now to run pumps for flood water 10-12 hours a day. Surprised it didn’t blow up we finally ordered the replacement eco part and the panel lights and all is working great. Easy to repair and service. Much quieter too if we just need the 1 pump going and with that eco throttle working correctly now. I’d buy it in a heartbeat if I didn’t get this one free at the curb. Awesome product!

Does a LOT!
Will start and run a Coleman Mach 15 air conditioner using the Microair Easystart. Very quiet, powered lots of things in our house during the great Texas freeze of Feb. 2021. Ran for 74 hours to provide internet, lights, refrigerator, space heater, computers, tv etc. No other brand can touch the quality here.

Lite weight .
I bought the EU 2200I and the companion 30 EU2200I for camping. Worked great with the 15k AC. Surprisingly good on fuel even on 100 degree days.

Hurricane Laura Aftermath
I purchased this model after Hurricane Laura devastated our town of Lake Charles. We were expected to not have power for 6-8 weeks, so I paid the premium for the Honda and I'm so glad I did. I wanted whatever generator I bought to be high quality and reliable and this model definitely is! Its very quiet and super fuel efficient compared to traditional generators that my co workers bought. It ran all the lights in our home, a small window unit A/C, and our refrigerator with no problem. The app is incredible for reminding you of preventive maintenance and reporting your wattage output in real time and I slept well knowing that CO Minder system would shut down the unit if CO levels got too high outside, even though it was well ventilated. Now that we have mains power back, it will be great for tailgates and camping. Very happy with my little Honda Inverter for sustaining our lives during hurricane clean up.

Not getting the Watts I expected
I bought it about 2 months ago and just yesterday finally got to set it up and run it. I purchased it based on specific details I have on the fridge and freezer I wanted to run using this generator. However, for some reason only the freezer runs and the power is not enough to kick start the compressor for the fridge.
