Q:I have 8ft ceilings so I don't necessarily need low profile fan but I like the looks of the fan. Would there be much difference in airflow (vs a normal length rod) if I installed this low profile fan in an 8ft tall room?

Look great and quietly move air!
Looks good and does a great job!
Ordered two fans and two remotes with wall switch. One remote worked perfect after installation. The second remote control buttons didn’t control fan speed and lights wouldn’t turn on. Contacted customer service. After suggesting two things electrician had checked already, the service rep determined what part was needed and ordered it. Both work!

Really moves a lot of air!
I have 3 of the 52" Crestfields and 1 of the 42" Crestfields. Love the low profile and they were very easy to install. Well balanced fans. Love Hunter fans for their longevity and being well made.

Very pretty ceiling fan in a bright white. Modern looking. i found this easy to install, compared to some other ceiling fans. I really liked the pressed in blades that didn't require 3 screws and rubber gasket to install. That used to be the worst part of installing a ceiling fan, just because it was time consuming. The rubber was already in the blades so you just pressed them in. I have a picture of this below.
This is a really modern look, very clean and simple. Gotta love the quality of any Hunter fan. They are silent even when running on low speed.
It comes with bulbs but I find it to be too bright for a bedroom. I'm going to replace the bulbs with 15 watt equivalent LEDs. I think it came with 40 watt equivalents.

I am Truly Impressed. The manufactures have really stepped up there game. Not only is this 3 light ceiling fan look good but the directions are very detailed.
The instructions are so well made that someone who has never installed a ceiling fan before will have no problems with this kit (as long as all the electrical support such as the supply wiring, electrical box, etc. is already in place). Installation took about an hour and ALL the important bags labeled making identifying what screws you need easy to find. Even tells you the size drill bit to use if supporting the mounting bracket onto the wood frame.
The motor mount is one of the easiest I installed. Once the bracket is in place all one has to do is place the motor into the bracket and then screw in the support screws on each side that keeps the motor from moving around when operating.
The Snap Shot Details:
-The fan blades are lite and have 2 decor futures.- white and wood grain.
-Fan - has 3 speeds, is reversible, and moves quite a bit of air for such a small fan and makes it perfect for a small to medium size room.
-Pull chains are identified with a fan or light symbol
-Remote control compatible with Hunter's remote control accessories.
-Motor is quiet at high speed. (the air being moved is noisier)
-Bright lights, Comes with 3 lights with this kit.
-Glass is CLEAR.
-Can install just the fan if you do not want the lights. (comes with a cover plate and instructions can be found on the website. (instructions were not included in the instruction manual but refers you where you can find the instructions)
-Easy install.
Overall: Even though I am not in particular care for 3 lights decorations and prefer a single dome light, I am impressed on how the light is dispersed and its look. Motor is quiet. The light kit looks good and is suitable for small and medium rooms.

Nice fan. Well made. Easy install if area you are installing it in is already set up for an electrical fan. Most likely if the room has a double light switch no other electrical work would be needed except the actual install. I bought two of them and they work great and look great. Hunter is a good quality fan. Shipping was extremely fast and packaging was above and beyond. Received with no damaged parts.

Love the fan / lights but two long screws were missing to stabilize the fan. I had hired an installer you recommended who put it together, it has some wobble at higher speeds due to the absence of the screws.
