Dempsey 52 in. LED Indoor/Outdoor Matte Nickel Ceiling Fan with Light and Remote

Great fan! Easy to install, looks beatiful in our patio, the remote is a great upgrade over our old pull chain fan. Glad we got this fan!

I've had these for about 2.5 weeks. Seemed fine for a few minutes after install until they randomly start turning off and on. Sometimes several times a minute, sometimes hours where it doesn't happen at all. The light blinks or if the light is off we can still hear the fan motor click off and on. I installed 4 of these fans and they all do the same thing. I purchased 6 total. I'm not new to installing fans, that was done correctly, and I checked the wiring again just to be sure. I also tried re-syncing the remotes which also didn't work. Hunter customer service sent me a fan to replace one... same problem. I spoke with Hunter again and they admitted they had a bad batch of remote receivers so they are sending me replacement receivers for all fans once the receivers are back in stock. Hopefully that solves the issue, if not they're all getting returned. They are quiet, pretty much silent, and move the air adequately. I do like the modern style and color of the blades so I really hope I don't have to return them!

These are beautiful fans, easily installed on a slanted covered porch. Note that there are no pulls for light or fan so you must use wall switch or remote. If you have ever had to “dust” an outdoor chain pull you will be grateful for this.

Bought 2 of these fans after a LONG search for a transitional fan that would not hang too low in my 8ft ceiling bedroom. I needed white so that they would not distract from the overall look of the room. End result is that they look great and actually are very close to the ceiling and are shorter than the old fans I had previously (it comes with a 2" and a 3" rod. We used the 2). Many reviews mentioned the dim light, which I was concerned about. But using the bulbs that came with it was sufficient for me. It is bright enough in my large bedroom. Each fan has 2 bulbs. You can place brighter LED bulbs in but it won't be necessary. Make sure the dimmer is all the way up for the highest setting. The fans are very quiet and have 3 settings. I keep mine on #2 all day and night and it's a very good breeze. We were connecting the fans to work with our existing wall switches (one for the fans and one for the lights). We had to bypass the receiver on both for the lights (blue wire) to make the switches work properly. That makes me lose the ability to dim but I never dim anyways and so it was not a big deal for me. I can obviously replace my wall switch with a dimmer if I should want that feature. So, i only use the remote to change the speed of the fan. I turn my fan and lights on/off with my wall switch separately. My husband said the only hard thing about hanging the fans were the blades. They are not the traditional design of attaching the blades, they screw on inside of the fan cavity which is just a tight space. But overall, I am enjoying my fans and am very happy with the purchase.

Easy to install and. Dry quiet

I'm very happy with this fan. I needed a "ceiling hugger" fan to replace an existing fan that hung too low for comfort. This fan only drops 13" from the ceiling and gained me 8" of clearance. I read some reviews complaining about the light, but I find the light to be great - plenty bright without being obnoxious. The instructions were excellent.
