Can I use bulbs greater than 9 watts?

Hello, this fan comes with a remote wall control. However, you can also add a handheld remote which would allow you to operate the fan with either the remote wall control or the handheld remote. Has anyone else bought the matte black fans, and been told that the fan blades are not reversible? My electrician is installing them at the new house, and said that the only way they go is the dark gray oak look. Specs clearly say "reversible fan blades"

What is truly the max downrod length that this fan can attach to? Can you go longer than 72??
