the 1/2in. Drive 32mm 12-point deep socket. is a well built SOLID deep socket. Having the size listed on the side in big numbers is a nice touch. the 1/2in side is very sturdy. it has detentes on all four sides to hold it on to whatever you are connecting it to. My one criticism is that it is not as deep as it could be. there is at least another 1/4-1/2" of depth that could have been used to make it a deeper socket. all in all it is a great value!

This, HUSKY 1/2 in. Drive 32 mm 12-Point Deep Socket arrived in a soft package and it compliments it's name...HUSKY! The steel they use is constructed to last a long time. I've used other sockets in the past and they don't hold-up to what HUSKY Brand offers. I replaced my old socket for this new one and I'm looking for projects to use it on! If you're looking for a durable, hefty, 32mm socket, this is the one. You'll want to replace all of your sockets once you get your hands on these!

It never fails that when it comes to working on my vehicles, each project needs yet another socket I do not own. This time around I needed deep sockets to fit bolts around 30 to 32 mm. This socket fit the bill nicely. The 12 point design allows for the socket to fit over a variety of different bolt heads. The points only extend 3/4 in deep into the socket and the total depth of the interior is about 2 inches. The socket is well made and very durable. I'm confident it will last a lifetime. I also bought a 30 mm deep socket which also has similar characteristics. And would also recommend.

Got to use my 32mm Husky deep socket today to remove front driveshaft nuts on a front wheel drive car. The socket was very tight to go on the nut to start, I had to tap it on then work it off. I tried it with the same effect on the other side. I put a long breaker bar on it and tried to remove the nuts to no evail. Tried an impact even though it is not an impact socket, but still nothing. Went for some heat and breaker bar again with a cheater pipe on it and but finally broke loose. After closely examining the socket it showed a little wear from tough use and some nicks and scratches from flying off onto the floor. Finished the job after tightening the wheel nuts to 280 ft lbs with the husky socket and breaker bar. This socket now sits proudly in amongst my Snap on sockets and will be a go to socket for a long time to come. Well done Husky.

Thanks, Home Depot, for carrying these larger size Metric Deep Sockets. Every now and then I run into something working on my orange tractor that needs something larger than what is in my Husky Metric Set. This socket is rugged and well made. It feels heavy, ready for the job. Being 12-point, this socket is easier to use than the six-point metric sockets that I’ve used in the past. You can really put some torque to this guy. I really like the large print socket size engraved on the side of the socket that is clearly visible, even for me. This socket is ready for serious work so purchase with confidence. What can I saw about a socket other than to say what is important to me when buying it. First it is sturdy and very well built. I needed the larger 1/2 size which was missing in my toolbox so the Husky offering was a good choice at a fair price. The 12 point socket should be helpful in not rounding off stubborn nuts on projects that might need a little extra leverage to remove. The finish is great and compared to the more expensive brand names this is a perfect fit for someone like me who is a DIYer weekend user. Nice lifetime warranty (same as the bigger names)>
