Strength

Is it stronger than the black one
Asked by: Jerome
Jerome, I believe you are referring to the Husky Black 100 position flex lock ratchet Model# H10038FLRAT. Both the Husky Black and the Husky standard ratchet exceed the ANSI (American National Scientific Institute) specifications for torque and strength. The Husky Black version has several features that will aid in accessing hard to reach fasteners. Both ratchets are also covered by Husky's Lifetime Warranty.

1/2 in. Flex Head 72 Tooth Ratchet is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 30.

It must be noted that not all sockets fit perfectly for this size ratchet since there is a ball bearing like lever on it that is designed to help keep the socket on the ratchet. Although this is really nice, one must be careful what sockets are purchased so to use this advantage.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low profile is nice, release is comfortable and easy to... Low profile is nice, release is comfortable and easy to find. Fairly quiet. Flex head does not stay put, if I want to use it straight, and theres any torque required at all (no cheater bars, just normal use on exhaust bolts) the head flexes when you don't want it to, because it could be easier to flex the head than turn the bolt. Too many moving parts. If the flex could click into place and be fixed in position, this would be a great tool, but as it is, it's not useful. Returned for a refund.
