High quality tools with an exceptional warranty! Dealing with The Home Depot online was a great experience, I contacted them regarding an issue during shipping and they corrected the issue perfectly, which makes me want to continue to do business with them in the future, I'll even recommend The Home Depot online to anyone who is in the market. My minor issue with the tool set is (hopefully the pictures attach); the cutouts for some of the tools is not conducive to people with normal sized hands. Its difficult to grab some of the ratchet drivers because the finger cutout is too small, other than that, the set is awesome! I really like that the tools are completely organized and you can see which tools are missing at a glance, so I highly recommend this set to anyone who needs some tool organization in their life.

This was an excellent set of regular ratchets as well as extensions and adapters. I'm ultimately very happy with this EVA set. Nearly completely cleans up my ratchet drawer. Husky, what would be a great follow up would be an EVA tray for the flex head ratchets and the little round hand ratchets and either combined or separate, extended long reach ratchets. That would look outstanding all together...

Clear out a drawer or two in your tool box for these beauties. They come in three hard foam cutouts and are organized excellent. Just set these in the drawer and they will stay organized forever. This really is a complete set and must have for the garage/shop tool box. With the 1/4", 3/8" and the 1/2" sizes you are ready to tackle it all. Just missing a few wrenches to having almost everything you need in this set. Great tools and at a budget affordable price. Highly recommend.

This is a really cool tool set that includes both metric and english sizes of sockets. From larger sizes down to smaller, it includes just about anything you need outside of working on large vehicles. The inclusion of hex wrenches and the screwdriver set is a nice touch to have a few more tool possibilities at your disposal. The set includes both 1/4 and 3/8 drive ratchets which feel great in the hand. The sockets attach firmly using the push to release style button on the back of the ratchet. This means no more sockets coming loos and falling down into the engine bay. Anyone who has ever lost a 10mm socket this way knows the pain. It is a great overall set, but I do with they had included a few more extension choices of the ratchets. There is one short extension for the 3/8 ratchet but none for the 1/4. The real standout here is the included tool organizer though. It is made of a hard foam and covered with a heavier plastic coating that looks like carbon fiber. The tools fit snugly inside and it provides a space for everything. This can go in a drawer or toolbox, keeping everything handy. I believe it may fit some husky mechanic toolboxes directly. It also is a great way to see what tools you have out, and helps you to remember what still needs to be put away..... like that 10mm socket you forgot on the edge of the engine bay again! (they should really sell sets of just 10mm sockets) If you need a nice set of tools, you can't go wrong with this, especially if you have a toolbox it will fit into. It will make your tools easy to find, use and put away when done.

This useful assortment of mechanics tools comes in a molded foam lidless case. The tools include sockets, Allen keys, screwdriver handle and drive bits in both metric and SAE sizes. The tools are well made and meets ANSI standards. An open foam block retains the tools, so no lid is required, even after bouncing down our rural dirt road, none of the sockets had shaken loose. After a month of extensive use the sockets look as good as new.

Over time, my "tool set", used at home and away, has become an eclectic mix made from various sets and in-fill tools due to breakage, loss, etc. Finally, the Husky tool set gives me a a complete set that stores in one place, my shop's locking tool chest, and is dedicated for home use only. It's all good: 1) Tools are well made, organized, and marked 2) Set provides the 3 standard ratchet sizes 3) Set covers wide range of both SAE & Metric sizes for all wrench types I would recommend this product!

I am a big fan of Husky tools - they are always high-quality, and backed by a great warranty. This set, however, puzzles me as to why they included what they included. For example, the wrenches are missing the 11/16" and 3/4" SAE sizes I usually see with wrench sets, and the 9, 11, 14, 17 and 19mm Metric sizes I normally see. Most of these sizes are in the sockets, just not the wrenches The allen wrenches include short and long versions, but are missing 9/64", 7/64", and 3/64" in the SAE sizes, and 4.5, 3.5, and 1.27mm in the metric sizes. There are 3/8" drive flat screwdrivers (3 sizes!), as well as #1, 2 & 3 phillips bits. In all the 50+ years I've worked with tools, I don't recall using a ratchet driver with a flat-blade or phillips screwdriver bit.. I have used an adjustable wrench on a square-shank screwdriver, but it seems to me a waste to include things like this and then short me on the actual wrenches. You will almost certainly find yourself purchasing additional tools to complete this set. OK, choice of tools aside, these tools are beautifully-finished and clearly laser-marked, and will obviously last for years if taken care of. The heavy foam holders I'm ambivalent about - they present very nicely, but require an inordinate amount of space compared to other types of tool organization schemes I've seen or used. They are great for organizing your tools and identifying missing tools if you have the space to use them.

I already own several sets of Husky ratchet/socket sets that have been serving me well for about the last twenty years and I have expanded these sets with accessories and add-ons when needed. I have never had a failure of any of these tools in all this time. They just flat-out perform and do what they are supposed to do in every situation. I have been completely satisfied. I always thought that "Wouldn't it be nice if these sets came in a case/tray that would be able to lie flat in a tool chest drawer." Well here it is. This 244-piece ratchet/socket mechanic's tool set is close to a perfect answer. All of the ratchets, sockets, hex keys, Torx tools and other assorted tools are supplied in three EVA trays that measure 20"x14"x2". I'm not going to bore you with the exact number and type of tools that are in this set or each tray. I have attached photos that will show that. I will say that each of the high-polish chrome sockets is well finished and the markings are very bold and easy to see. The 72-tooth ratchets are of the professional tear-drop style with push-button quick release. You really just need to plan upon how you will fit these trays into your tool chest. Using the size specs of each tray you can best determine how to place them in the shallow drawers. You might be able to fit two of these trays in the wider tool chests but smaller chests will only hold one per drawer. Just consider this if you haven't yet bought your tool chest. I'm going to get a larger and wider model. Now there is one thing to consider when buying this tool set and that is that while 244 pieces sounds like a huge amount tools many of these pieces are the small stuff like screwdriver bits and hex wrenches. And of course any of these sets don't include some things you might need like a swivel extension or ratchet/socket extension. This set does include 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" ratchets, many sockets in SAE and Metric but doesn't have it all. Hopefully you will have accumulated most of these add-ons before buying this set. Is it perfect? Is it all-inclusive? No but if you look at my attached photos you can get a good idea of what you are getting. I really think that this is a very good tool set for those who are looking for a high-quality set that will fit into the drawers of your roll-around garage-style tool chest. Of course, as with all Husky hand tools, there is a lifetime warranty. I recommend this Husky tool set. It's a great tool set!

The HUSKY 1/4 IN., 3/8 IN. AND 1/2 IN. 72-TOOTH RATCHET MECHANICS TOOL SET WITH EVA (244-PIECE) is a good foundational tool kit for any mechanic or DIYer. It is pretty much a complete set of SAE and millimeter sockets, both in 6 point and 12 point, as well as specialty fittings such as allen wrenches, phillips, hex and torx sockets. It also includes three rachets, especially designed to fit into small, close areas and a magnetic driver. The sets come in a handy foam storage device. The front looks like carbon fiber and the foam holds the sockets, handles and wrenches securely so you can either place them in a tool box or install them on a wall for easy reach. The rachet handles come with a quick release button, making changing out sockets easy. My only complaint is the diameter of the rachet handles. I like a little thicker handle to provide better leverage for me. And, while Husky has been a brand that has been around since 1924, it is now Home Depot's house brand. However, that doesn't seem to negatively impact the quality of the tools and they continue to have a life-time guarantee.
